"The chemical brothers have admitted that they've got seven fresh new tracks ready for a new album which will follow their upcoming hits.

We've created seven pieces of new music that will form the basis of our next proper album it's really different we've had a real creative burst and put together what i think is the best music we've ever produced"

Sounds good can't wait for this :D

No artist would admit "Hey, we worked on that and think it's crap, but we will release it anyway" ;-)

Anyway, I am excited. 8)

Or have you ever heard of an artist saying "Hey, our new album is crap !". And I mean a serious artist.

Plenty admit their albums are crap after the fact but not beforehand no.

But come on do you really think a chems album is going to be crap?

The Golden Path rocks...
He put on a turn-down collar, a black bow, and wore his Sunday tail-coat. As such, he looked spruce, and what his clothes would not do, his instinct for making the most of his good looks would.

Yes, especially because no other pop song sounds like it.

note: I'm starting to get annoyed with anType's narrow-mindedness, but I suppose he is allowed his opinion

Well, considering the fact that they dont consider their music big beat, I dont see how you could say that.

Also, I really liked "The Golden Path". It's probablly due to the fact my music taste seems to really be the same kind of taste of the Chemical Brothers.

I'm not huge on Oasis other than the song Wonderwall (I'm a Blur Guy) but I love Beth Orton, k-os, and the Flaming Lips. That might be part of why I loved their new song so much, but I cant wait for their album to arrive.

The Chemical Brothers have yet to make an album that has dissapointed me, I've loved Exit Planet Dust, Dig your Own Hole, Surrender, and Come with Us, and their Firth album is sure to please. If the Chemical Brothers believe that their new music is some of the best they have ever done, I believe it because they dont appear to be the kind of artists to allow themselves to make bad music. They seem to have a real love for what they do.

Thanks for that, you said what I've been mentally crippled from putting in words, the chems have a good sense in music and wouldn't put out stuff they didn't like. Also big props on not being fond of oasis but thinking better of beth orton. Her music is great. Also to my surprise, since Surrender, I've gotten every Mazzy Star (and her spin off Hope & the inventions), she's another one that is good outside of the chems work. I got one Mercury Rev album that was so-so, does anyone know what their best work is (opinion or fact will do)?
