I have searched the forum and have not found any matching topics, so I hope this is new.

* Firstly, the Dream Ticket show on BBC 6 Music, where music from live festivals is played from the BBC's archives, had the Chems as 'support'. They played Setting Sun and TPPR from Glasto 2000. To hear it online, the link is http://www.bbc.co.uk...am_ticket.shtml (you'll have to fast forward to get to the Chems stuff)

* Secondly, I stumbled upon these interviews at the 6 Music site. They are in real player format, with a studio interview broken into two parts, and a Glastonbury 2003 interview. There's even mention of Tom's theory of the 'Turin Shroud' way to make music 8O. The links are to the right of the following page: http://www.bbc.co.uk...lbrothers.shtml

* Lastly, 6 Music played a DJ set by the Chems (unsure which one) on New Year's Day. If anyone knows where I can listen to it ('cos I missed it) then please let me know. Also, does anyone have a tracklisting for the set they played at Glastonbury 2003? They seemed to mention that the last track of their set was really good. :-? :(

yeah, those tom robinson interviews were really good. even though he did sound a bit like someones dad!!! he sounds like he gone AWOL from radio 2 or some other easy listening radio station. he made me feel old!!!!

tom talking about there ever evolving sound, 'a lot of our fans, judging by our web site would like us to make our first album over and over again'

so who is tom talking about hear???? definately not me, i'm forward facing. then again i dont think anyone on here would like the chems to stick to the same formula and make a 'dig your own hole part 2' or 'surreder 2'.

you were right 'thechemicalbrother' about the theory of the 'Turin Shroud' way to make music. it a nice theory that made me laugh!! i always thought that was how jon carter made his records

Yeah, I thought about that too. That's the(read: one) cool thing with the chemical brothers, you never know what the next album is going to sound like but they always have that "chemical feel" that makes them awesome!

I hope he wasn't talking about me, either!!!

But there has been talk here in the past with people saying they wanted the Chems to go back to the big beat days and such, or wouldn't it be great if they could make something that sounded a bit more like (insert record title here). So I can see why Tom said what he did.

I am fully supportive of them pushing foward and not stagnating. Even if they end up going against what people expect... and in some cases, like. Not everyone's gonna be pleased all the time. This allows for them to grow and that's positive. It's nice that people have their opinions and this can be constructive but in the end, they've got to do it for themselves.
be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle

I've heard that before, but it's nice to hear it again. It mentions stuff like the unreleased/rejected Eve track (B-side to IBIA) and production with New Order. There's also some more general stuff (Specsavers, lab coats and Fight Club! X-D).
