the n*gger joke never get's old... all it does is expose the latent racism of the people who get upset, because they always think that N*GGER means something besides 'NAGGER'

Only someone who's really racist at heart would assume it means anything else ;-)

I think that's because it's way too hor here so they go in a country where it's always raining :)

Btw, my familly is in Scotland right now :P But only because of the twinning between my town and a town in Scotland names Fraserburgh, on the north of Aberdeen.

Wow. Have I an AMAZING story/review to tell all you guys. Serioulsy really enjoyable night I loved it. So much ''On the spot stuff happend''. It was litturally unreal they amount of luck we had was amazing.

Im actually wrecked but I think i should kick it off, I dont want to bore some people to tears but i wanna tell you all that theres still a chance for the Irish Concert Scene :P

Well.. Who knows but yeah my story is pretty cool, it usually is from my prespective.

Well it kicked off at around 6.30am when i came in from a party for doing my gcse's and that, hoping to wake at like 12 to go to daft punk. I got up at 11.30 and went and got my friends camera and 1gb chip for vids and all that crack. Then i was left at my companion 'Kristians' house. Hes only 14, and Im 16. Young irish lads like, but still no way did that stop us from going to daft punk. We went into town and got some money together and we got some brews for the pre-drink session. Then headed to subway for a bite before we left (I know its not healthy but it beats the fuck out of a McDonalds) After that we got on our coach where we met Andy Moore and these other guys. (if your reading this, it was an epic gig and ill never forget it or you guys, you and your fuckin milk cartons). Anyway yeah, well we got on the aircoach and it was so bad, cause it was so slow. We figured cause it was a dublin bus the peple were heading to daft punk and the guys we met andy moore and his friends were going too. So coincedental, i mean i thought this was a treat from God to say the least. Them three same guys had went ot the two chems gigs I'd went to, Belfast 03.12.05 and Dublin 19.08.05. Yeah I thought that was pretty cool until i discovered one of them was the guy who got up at Ulster Hall and SHOOK TOMS hand, I had actually met him. (not like I was gockin the guy or anything) but i found it really cool that near enough a year down the line I meet the guy who USED my shoulder to heave himself up onto the stage to come to SHAKE Tom Rowland's hand. Yeah I thought that was pretty sweet. They were mad, especially Andy, the guy pissed in a milk carton on a bus to dublin a 2ltr bottle of milk whilst scarred nordies watched. Crazy, he was crankin beers open and just not giving a fuck, fairplay, I however didnt and neither did my sidekick Kristian, I told him not too. The traffic and weather were awful so we ditched the bus near our drop point in dublin and went to Burgh Quay and got out bus tickets before the line got really big.

We hopped on the bus where it was there we met Grainne and her friends. Everyone was shocked we were only 16 and 14, but then ya know this is Ireland I'd like to meet the person who'd actually give a shit.

They were really dead on, Grainne give Kristian some Bulmers and said that she would be his ''Mammy'' for the night and that if we needed any help or if we were in any kind of trouble to find them and she'd help.

We got left off in Marlay Park and first thing that was needed was a good toilet break. Then, because we knew we wernt allowed any drink in the arena, we had to down them beers pretty quick and it was Carlsberg too, and them danes made that right and lovely for us like..... It was rough. But ya know, we still drank it. I was just a little buzzed up dont know about Kristian but we started to make our way to the Arena, it was there we got the rest of our beer taken off us cause we were entering the arena, (i knew it would happen but 4 was too rough especailly since i prettymuch downed them). So we were in the arena, DJ Falcon or Digitalism was on one of the two but the beats and tunes were fillin the arena loud. I was definately feeling the concert vibes and having several flashbacks to the night of the Chemical Brothers. :P

Naw but it was pretty rockin, until it happend.... People, I've never experience this before so I was pretty fucking shocked, I'm traumatised, almost put me off Ireland Concerts for life. Seriously. No, it wasnt the bad crowd, or a dodgey pint, or a smelly ugly person or any of that stuff ive heard about before it was so bad. URGH! I still cant get over it. There was the Barrier for the stage then a LIMITED space then ANOTHER barrier a limited amount of people were allowed into the pit. At first, I thought hmm ya know ''What the fuck?''' then i figured they must be letting in only a few people into the pit, maybe the ones who actually want to go in, and then people who are just wanting to chill just hang back. Well no, not the case. What they had done was for the EARLY birds, they handed out wristbands, so they could get into the pit and only a CERTAIN amount at that, not for sale, not for resale, just first come first serve. I tried to get in, but then i found that out and was soooooo fucking gutted, I almost just wanted to cry and go home in rage. I was so gutted, so was Kristian, I mean ya dont go and pay 40 worth of a ticket then go to find out you cant even go as close as you want, and the fact they give them to the early birds too and not to the people who actually wanted to be in, I'm pretty sure that there was people who got them that didnt use them to their full advantage and didnt even want to go in. Which is probably why they should have put them on sale or better still not had at all for fuck sake. After moping about and trying to ring relatives etc who work with the companies that were organising it to try and get ourselves in the pit, after trying to bribe people with money and everything. I figured ''fuck it'' lets go to the bar and try and get wrecked and we wont even notice the difference. We'll be too warped, and no barrier is gonna wreck my night. Kristian thought otherwise and thought stick on with the bribing. I wasnt too keen. I was emotionally distraught and felt the need to drink my hopes and dreams away... X-D

Anyway I was so fuckin ragin, I said to myself ya know what, Im going up there and going to find out if theyll let people in when the concert starts, if its not that full, cause ya know surely they must let you in if there isnt enought space filled, that would be a total waste of an up front spot. So I went up told kristian to come with me and tapped him

he tapped me back and let me through... I couldnt fuckin believe it..... i was gobstruck, litturally I kept walking didnt look back I just kept walking and there I was, In the pit with no armband, I felt like the epitome of life or some crazy shit seriously, I was wideopen and then it hit me and what had just happend actually registered and I went NUTS...

''YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH''

''DAFT PUNK! YAYEAAHH!H!! YEAHHH!!! EYAYAH!! OH MY GOODD AAHAHH!!!!''

I was so on top of the world then I thought, ''oops.....'' ''Wheres..em..Kristian?''

I just felt terrible. What had I just done? I got in but I couldnt see Kristian anywhere. I ended up ringing him he was outside, I seen him outside, I felt like shit seriously, after leaving him there, but it wasnt intention i was by accident, it would have been better for him to be up where I am rather than me, I've had my fair share of front row experiences(well not really, but still). I thought ya know, he'll make the most of it and probably get in. So I went on with my night, but I did feel terrible about it.

As for the gig itself, it was amazing. Really good I recommend it. They opened with Robot Rock and played tunes like One More Time, Alive, Steam Machine, Prime Time of Your Life, Human After All and Technologic.

Alot of things were mixed up and put together to sound absolutely amazing. They didnt come back for an Encore which displeased me. I recorded almost the whole gig. My battery's kept dieing but I kept switching them about and stuff and it did the trick, and ended up putting in some batteries that were full when they had said they were dead, was near enough a miracle. So yeah I'll have them videos up soon enough for you all to see.

It was soo good, I dont know about Chem'd Up and Irish Fan but I didnt get any shit and didnt give any shit, I think someone tried to mug me, (i had a backpack with nothing in it) HAHA Ragggeeeeee, some knacker probably thought ''my lucky day'' then opened it to find they'd been tricked.

So yeah it was a great gig, the visuals were class the sound was great, i got a good view everything turned out so well, found out kristian ended up getting into the pit and everything (stood a bit up from me infact). Everything went GREAT.

But to top it all off..... we were getting a ride home to Belfast by a bunch of people who had hired a mini bus. They knew Kristians mum and thats how i was involved, ( i was with Kristian). Well anyway Im standing at X3 Exit waiting on meeting kristian to find a old friend I havent seen in years. Charlene. When I was a kid my best friend was her brother. Shes 22 and prettymuch watched me grow up. So the moment as you can all imagine was pretty magical to say the least.

''Oh my god, is that Joe Fox?!''

'' *warped*...uugh?''

''OMG IT IS!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE OMG!! WHAATT!!!''

''Charlene?! :? ....... X-D ''

We went to our bus and talked a bit about music and other general things. It was great. A great night altogether. I just hope it actually happend and not some other shite and im hallicinating this or something, I'm still in daft punk everyone........

Aye anyway, I ended up writing everything specific about the gig but most of you have heard other reviews and seen it and stuff. I just thought my story was a bit magical and apart from that I'll let the videos do the talking I pretty much recorded the whole set on video.

Hey Foxboy, glad to see you had a magical moment at Daft Punk! I hope your friend Kristian wasn't too upset with you - it's a drag about the rules of the pit. As always, a great review - thanks for the read!!

from popbitch:

>> Human after all <<

The greatest rock'n roll swindle

So, you're a reclusive but legendary dance

act. You decide to do a few gigs. Your

agent contacts the big European festivals

and tells them you are prepared to do three

dates only - to the highest bidders. Bidding

reaches 300,000 euros, so you agree. And

then your agent rings more festivals and says

- ok, you'll do ten dates only, at 300k a

pop. You then do these festivals dressed as

robots. Except, you don't even bother going on

stage for every gig, you get two replacements

to work the pre-programmed synths etc.

Congratulations - you are Daft Punk!
