The Coachella Forum and Coachella Facebook posters are some of the most insanely annoying, stupid, intolerant, dumb f*ck-trolls to grace the face of the internetz. It's like 4chan started a community for music and created the Coachella messageboards, except they dropped their self-awareness and ironic purposes.
I refused to start posting on anything Coachella related outside of these boards and largely stopped reading them because the people who choose to post on there make me start appreciating Tool's AEnima so much more than I should.
Whirls, I am with you. We are the responsible adults who are still trying to have a bit of fun and cannot afford three day passes. We have rocked harder than any of those whiny self-entitled hipsters. I want to drag them through the alleyways outside of the clubs where I have had magical 4 a.m. moments and make them eat the garbage that everyone else throws away.

The 3 day pass thing is a business decision based on the financial bottom line- I understand that decision and if it ensures Tom and Ed have a slot to play at one of the greatest US festivals, I'm OK with that. I just don't like some elitist telling anyone that just because they can't afford 3 days, then they don't appreciate music. That's just plain rude.

Word.....you shouldn't be force to go all 3 days just because you have to adapt to everyone else's music taste!

But I already had a 3-day pass (because of PJ and R+) and I kept it because Vitalic was also playin' on the first day.
By the way I hope the Chems will come to that festival this year ! They already came in 2008 (the first time I saw them) and I know they are at Werchter this year so I may hope for an Arras gig.

But jeez....i used to share EVERYTHING. Literally everything!
I'm still the same person as 5 years ago, but i think i'm a little bit more thoughtfull with what i share and what not!

Going to be a lot of work between now and April, but I'm excited. Hopefully there will also be some late and exciting additions to the lineup. I'm sad that Trentemoller and Leftfield are on Sunday. I'm not going to get to see them. SAD FACE AGAIN!
Now for Legal Research and Writing... (dot dot dot)

It's just soooo beautiful. 200 pages about an English electronic music label, with a lot of it being wondefrul artworks and pictures, mostly made by Strictly Kev, and the rest telling the wonderful story of the label and some of it's most notable albums.
Really if you have £14 to spend (Iguanapunk ?), rush to the Ninja Tune Shop and get the Ninja Tune XX vol 1 + 2 CDs + this book for only £14. It's the best deal you could get !

Sounds like a great deal. Is it only available in the UK?

Sadly, if you'll refer to the above posts in this thread about Coachella, there is some incessant bitching about how Goldenvoice no longer sells single day tickets. You need to buy a pass for the entire weekend if you want to attend.

Should have read more carefully. Urgh, that's a shame. If it's not tooo expensive and I still have a nickel in my wallet around that time I might do it after all.
