I looked through the other post about coming to Canada, but I thought add another one hoping that it would help bring a show to the 'The Great White North'. There are a ton of fans here, from coast, to coast to coast!

Canada's bodies of water are home to many Sammy the Salmons that would be sure to dance if you came!

Haha! But it wont do any good. If you have any thoughts on a canadian show, try to keep em all in one topic so that we dont have tons of new ones about the same thing opening up. AS much as I like to see that people care about canadian dates, we have to keep our thoughts organized.

I'm not exactly a scientist, but i think it would be cheaper for you to travel to england than it would be for the chems to travel to canada... unless you carry a lot of luggage

Just becuase were not the easyist country to get into it dosn't mean theres not as many fans. They played russia and like paris. I wanna like call them up and be like yo Tom et Ed...CANADA WANTS YOU! to play a show here. lol

well the legal drinking age in canada is 19+ so i could always get a fake id. Or I can find away to get in. I so hope they don't. Most raves in canada are 16+ so it might be like that. Hopefully.

Is watever is in the water/air it related to how you guys are such rabid maple leaf fans and yet you haven't come close to a cup in 40 years?

I had my opportunity to go to raves (in Manchester no less!) in 1990 but the friends I hung with at the time just weren't interested. My only regret in life, really. Not experiencing Madchester for myself. So we went to all sorts of "dodgy" clubs in London instead. :lol:

Going to raves changed my outlook on dance culture in general. I used to be into going to goth/industrial clubs, almost every weekend - but we started going to raves about a year and a half after we were married. I guess we just got tired of going to our old clubs - raves seemed more progressive, fresh, newer music and there was less attitude which meant more room to be yourself. Even if there were candy kids (which never bothered me all that much to be honest) at least they talked to you. Even if my husband and I looked like pasty Bauhaus listening death rockers. The clubs we went to in Los Angeles - so much attitude and I just don't care for it honestly.

Nowadays, I don't got to clubs much anymore at all. Hardly ever - maybe once every 2 blue moons. Maybe I'm old but it's just such a hassle dealing with LA and there just aren't any good clubs within cabbing distance of where I am - and I'm certainly not driving. Nocturnal Wonderland was the first rave I've been to in years, first concert in a long long time and it felt good to be a part of that. It took me baaaaaaaaack.

@Ryno

OMG NO! I friken hate the leafs. OMFG i cant stand them. I'm really not into hockey at all actually, but theres so many fans here. It's really annoying.

@Whrily

Theres definitley a (figurative) age limit on raves. I guess theres just a time where you have to move on. :S
