There are a lot of Single-worthy songs on We Are The Night and Battle Scars is one of them.

The Chems being diverse musically, with their music is tagged genre bending, transcending boundaries and all that you've read somewhere.... Stacked up next to Do It Again and Salmon Dance, Battle Scars does help illustrate diversity in We Are The Night.

I'm sort of tipsy, so don't mind me. :P I'm just excited about another Single release and I really dig and connected to Battle Scars.

I guess the Wizard's Sleeve remix should have been our first clue. ;)

I won't get excited until we have an official update about it (release date, artwork etc).. But I think it's an interesting choice.

If the next single IS Battle Scars, I'm guessing the promo artwork to be yellow or green. I hope it's yellow.

I love Battle Scars. Tremendous tune. That back half of the album is immense (though so is the front half).

Good choice imo, think its a good track for radio but how well it will do in the chart is anyone's guess. Suppose it depends on radio play, hope Radio 1 will have it on the playlist.

i dont think battle scars is the next single. if it was to be the next single it would have been given the CHEMSTDJ27 catalogue number instead of the XDUSTL8 it has been given. i think its a one off 12" release for the dj's, much like the EBW series. it exist purely to get the remix out there.

I think that if they released a new single this year it is something from "Brotherhood". In fact that ARR isn't on that best of it only could be something that is on it. IMHO there is only "Saturate", "Keep My Composure" or "Midnight Madness" in the game (or they re-released "Chemical Beats" as a real single and not only as a track on an e.p. or an album).

Now that you mention it, Chemical Beats would make an awesome EP.
