I like this version better:

Unkle's track is quite good but M81's has a bit more emotional power and synchs up better.

That's interesting-- http://en.wikipedia....ki/Fully_Flared
The video was, indeed, re-edited with UNKLE's "Heaven."

M83's track does synch up better and give the explosions a little more emphasis, but I don't know that it gives the viewer a more powerful emotional response. Or maybe that's just coming from my own perceptions of "Lower Your Eyelids to Die with the Sun" (M83's track) and the video that I would create to accompany the song.
What I think works better, though, with UNKLE's track is that this is what these skaters -live- to do. This is their passion, and the whole idea that "Heaven is here for you and me" takes on a more literal meaning when seeing these guys pushing their own visceral experiences to a point which most of us know as greater than our own normal, waking lives. This is, in their terms, heaven, and I think that the buildup in the edit with the UNKLE track to the point where the guy jumps off the stairs and crashes through the wall makes for a much more powerful emotional response because the viewer is teased and expectations are built, only to have those expectations surpassed because, obviously, you're not expecting him to magically crash through a wall.
Sorry about all of this--I was a film student for four years...

Video is amazing for both songs. And both songs are amazing. I've never fully taken the time to have listened to m83 for some reason. But I will now!
As for the UNKLE track "Heaven". Holy shit, this could possibly be their best track EVER.
