Well the great thing about friends is that even though you're not physically close they are there for you when you need them even if it's just via email or telephone. Still, the physical absence is tough and goodbye is never easy.

I'm looking forward to you being just a bit closer, feel the NY Jeanie vibes!

Have a safe trip and when you get things squared away, I'll give you a call.
be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle

Yeah, it's definitely cheaper to call within the US - usually after certain times in the evening, plus it depends on who the long distance carrier is. But overall, cheaper than in the UK (that I know for sure)

email or call, whatever's easiest. Let me run up my phone bill a bit for a change! ;)

A big adventure awaits in the next phase of your life! It's scarey but exciting at the same time and you're gonna do great! Hugs back atchya!

Hey, have a safe flight and make sure to make the absolute most of this opportunity. New York can be a wonderful place with the right attitude (which we all know you have!!!) and there will be no shortage of things to see and do.

And I don't doubt that you'll have no shortage of Chemical visitors from all over harrassing you to take them out NY clubbing! (like me! :D )

Awww you guys !!!

Well , just arrived. It's 7.12 here but for me it's 1.12 at night. Fucking Jetlaggged. Actually i aint feeling to well - i am fucking tired and the first days at a new place is always difficult for me.

Went to my agency to say HI to everybody and it wasn't such a warm welcome as i aspected....then went to my appartement for 3 weeks and i had to carry my 40 kilo suitcase up to 12 (!!!) stairs...Then i found that there weren't any towels or sheets , so i had to go out and buy them !! Grrrr !!! And i have to go and find my own appartement now.

Good thing is that for some reason i have full connection high speed wi-fi internet acces :D So i don't have to miss out on the board....pfew !!!

Tomorrow time to go to castings and take care of financial shit and blablabla. Hmmmm i'm so...tired...yaaaawn !!!

And Apostle , at the mo i'm staying at Broome street , just below canal street close to the Holland Tunnel. Guess we are kinda close !! Do you know ANYBODY that has an app for rent by any change ?!?! ;)

Jeanie, PM what kind of price range you can afford. I used to work in real estate and could make some quick searches.

a little advice for you jeanie while you live in NY......... i know sports is typically not a girly thing.........however, in NY it can be quite political........always remember that you root for the Yankees

do not root for the Mets, cause people will think your mentally ill

and

do not root for the boston redsox ....... newyorkers will kill you it they see you with any redsox paraphernalia on your body ( :P well they wont kill you, but they will give you hell)

remember the "Yankees" are the golden path ;-)

Hmmm...i am thinking of visiting thr Niagara Falls this weekend. it's an 8 hour train ride though to get there ( wich doesn't make any sense , cause by car it's 6.5 hours ) , and that means i will have to get an overnight stay. So it's gonna be really expensive all togheter....

Dammit !! I really wanna go !!

Yeah, it's a lot better on the Canadian side, because most of what looks dramatic and nice is actually American property, best viewed from across the way. :D
