We are checked into our hotel in palm springs, stash went to pick up Darkstar from the airport, pooter and biff are on their way to meet us. Touched base with KNE. We need Bosco to complete the circle.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh! So excited. It is absolutely gorgeous (and warm) outside! Blue skies ahead!

Leaving the show in stopped traffic, it was amazing, although a shortened set (ended after believe) due to visual shortages and Kings of Mediocrity. Had a blast, the show was one giant glowruption. Might've been my favorite show.

Maybe, it took some time. Doesn't matter, we combined forces of the coachella forum and the chemical forum and were right in the glowruption, everyone was so in to it! Quality more important than quantity!

Driving back to our hotel now. We had a great time, I think my voice will be lost by morning... Technical difficulties with the big screen and a very short set. The sound was amazing as always and they dropped some mega crowd pleasers - Horse Power was larger than life, Hey Boy Hey Girl was a rollercoaster. Everything they did was awesome and it will take some time to collect my thoughts. But I know what happened with the delay and the short set. It was heartbreaking because I know what happened is so not their style, and was beyond their control.

I can feel my voice is rather hoarse which is a good sign nonetheless.

Edit: I *don't* know what happened with the delay.

My voice is so shot right now, I sound like a 70 year old chain smoker. My best guess is the visual panels weren't working and they did have a strict time limit. Also Kings of Potato Rock were probably being passive aggressive about not headlining and played longer. All speculation but still, what an amazing show!

Why does anyone in the music business have any time for the Kings of Leon? From my understanding of it they cause trouble at every festival they play at by being a bunch of stuck up twats. Did you read about their run in with Groove Armada? They behaved like total pricks at Glastonbury a few years back too and a good friend of mine in a well known band here in the UK, who shall remain nameless, almost got into a fight with their guitarist last year. They just sound like a bunch of utter c**ts. I've no time for that sort of behavior at all.

Feel so sorry for all you guys and the Chems that the show was cut short. Glad it was all good whilst it lasted though.

May pigeons shit on kings of leon for all eternity.

We're alll talking about it at 4 am (I am drunk, yet still able to type; should this be on the buzzed posting thread?). Over all it was a great time and I disliked Kings of Leon already, life goes on, fin. But it was still an excellent show and Believe was a good one to end on, although to crazy Octave Kitten solo to end the show. But the crazy synth (Juno-106?) noises at the end of Believe were awesome. Like I said, I'm still supper happy with the show! The last two I went to I was far away and people were too drunk at the Hollywood Bowl, so this show was nice in that the audience was the best ever and they did really cool improv stuff in their set. ok, I'm not in the right mind to write a long post, but Pooter is going to sue Coachella for stating Kings of Leon would end at 11:15. We we're subjected to and extra 20 minutes of their potato rock!!
