Excellent review sneaker!

At once descriptive and closing!
He put on a turn-down collar, a black bow, and wore his Sunday tail-coat. As such, he looked spruce, and what his clothes would not do, his instinct for making the most of his good looks would.

impossible to say. probably took me a couple of years to realise that surrender was my favorite. i dont think its something you can decide after listening to it for a week. only time will tell. but for now its a corker!!!

Im back after listening my promo of PTB for a week :D

i only can say one thing FUCKING AMAZING!!!!!!!!

my fav tracks in order:

SURFACE TO AIR: epic, the vocoder voices are incredible they reminds me radioactivity from kraftwerk is like robots talking underwater . too beautiful to make a description.

THE BOXER:omg!!!! amazing it sounds very fresh the piano are superb, i love the brakes and drums there are some nice sounds ala orange wedge

the vocals: tim i love you great great!!!.

HOLD TIGHT LONDON:amazing tribal minimalistic song the vocals, so beautiful my fav female vocal ever(sorry beth) and probably the best collab on the album.

CLOSE YOUR EYES: the vocals are great the build up is huge. i cant describe this song is too beautiful.

THE BIG JUMP
:a grower, as sneaker say funky as helll!!!! the samples awesome the ah ah!! is very funny, the end is full of groove noises.

BELIEVE:the acid sounds are excellent full of bass.

COME INSIDE: is a little bit differeent from the chile set, but probably the song with best motorway bass ever plus the sample we all know this almost blow my speakers, and the final beats are excellent.

GALVANIZE:shorter then extended mix, jumbo beats with amazing mid eastern sound my fav part "((((dont hold back))))))(((dont hold))))(back back)))))"

MARVO GING: amazing psychedelic song :reverse synths :"TWOOOTHOUSANDDDDD" it sounds a lot like surrender era.

SHAKE BREAK BOUNCE:nice sample/vocals it has some latin-spanish flavor, the best spanish guitars ever.

LEFT RIGHT: the lesss good track on the album anyway is growing on me, cool aciddrum machine gun X-D some sounds reminds me groove armada songs. i dont like the BUSH SADAMM OSAMA part this track in two years is going too sound outdated.

HERE ARE A LIST AFTER LISTENING PTB, FAV ALBUMS:

1:SURRENDER/PUSH THE BUTTON :D

2:DIG YOUR OWN HOLE

3:EXIT PLANET DUST

4:COME WITH US

It's good to know that anType is still alive and well (saw a few posts by him). Just want to put my $.02 about PTB.

I've seen a lot of people ripping "Believe" and I have to say it's one of my favorite tracks on PTB. I think it has a real old feel to it - more like a DYOH mixed with Surrender than any of the others -- little big nostalgic almost. Take Under the Influence and mix in Out of Control, with some bleeps and bloops from Music:Response and you've got Believe.

Anyhoo -- it took a few listens to the album to see where the Chems were headed with it. As always, they tend to sway from their previous work, and for a fan who "gets it" it's a search to see where they're going, rather than being disappointed that they didn't just "do the same thing again" (which would get rather boring, of course)

Just me rambling. :)
