Aw, Jeanie. You know I'd be on the first flight out there if I could.
It would be the ultimate to welcome 2006 with all of you. Maybe a miracle will come my way, stranger things have happened.
But even if it doesn't, I'm still happy that you all are going to this gig. It's going to be really special, I can feel it!

Found a better price on the flight ($800), but it would still be irresponsible spending to go. Still, I'm very tempted.... Need to decide in the next few days, I guess. Bwah!!!!! Need to discuss this with my girlfriend when she's not so hormonal (she won't be able to afford the trip, and I don't think she'll appreciate me ditching her over the holidays).
Someone either talk some financial sense into me, or else talk me into blowing my wad on 5 or 6 crazy days.
[As an aside, these are the Premiership games in London during that time:
Wednesday December 28
Arsenal v Portsmouth
Fulham v Aston Villa
West Ham United v Wigan Athletic
Saturday December 31
Charlton Athletic v West Ham United
Chelsea v Birmingham City
Tottenham Hotspur v Newcastle United
Monday January 2
West Ham United v Chelsea
Fulham v Sunderland
Tuesday January 3
Arsenal v Manchester United 8O ]

Just looking back at some of the Coachella threads and this is what I had to say at the beginning of that discussion:
Sounds familiar to my above post, and we all know how Coachella worked out....... 8O

I need everyone who is going to convince me that this will be the best thing to happen to my summer and worth driving 8 hours a day for 8 out of 11 days gone. Must see Chems....

Darkstar, if you end up going to New Year's Eve with the Chems, you will definitely win the "Hardcore Chems Fan Of The Year" award. If there ever will be such a thing. Seriously, I tell people about how you spent 60 hours one way on a bus just to see the Chems at Coachella and they are blown away by your dedication!!
You make us all look lazy! :P

I'm literally getting edgy and anxious sitting here at the computer, contemplating the possibility. I'm just rereading all the Coachella threads and I'm feeling the buzz again. Feels like coming up on pills right now, truth be told. I won't feel let down if I don't go, but if I think I can squeeze it.....
And I tell everyone here about how cool you guys were for taking me in not once this summer, but twice!

:-// I hope I get the chance to meet them. So many cool people on this board.
(But I shouldn't let this thread disintegrate into "Will Darkstarexodus go to Turnmills? Find out next week: Same Chemical time, same Chemical channel!" Come on you English! Your team needs you! Buy your tickets today.)
