Weell, Japanes has fine in one hand, because thez alwazs get some bonus stuff. But on the other hand...this Japanese version of PTB IS NOT THE ORIGINAL IDEA OF THE PTB ALBUM. Original idea from chems was to be 11 tracks and the Surface on Air is the final of the album. This is the vision from chems. End of Surface on Air should be end of album, and japanes peoples must hear another bonus track. Curious...
So? It's not like it ruins the album. PTB is still there. It's not different.
The reason why the Japanese always get bonus tracks is so that people there buy thier own goods and keep the economy going, instead of importing goods. Thats why a majority of the time you will see albums coming out first in Japan (such as the new Chems and the upcoming Daft Punk) and lots of bonuses.

Exactly :)
Plus, I can think of a ton of Japanese Bonus Tracks that never were released outside of Japan. Nobody knows, and nobody will know until the second single in the UK.

I think however, this bonuses really change the point of view on the album as the complete album. This is not my really problem, but it's just my thoughts...

PTB ISN'T EVEN MIXED. I would understand if the songs were mixed with eachother, but they aren't. They are individual songs. If they play well next to eachother, Giant has NO BEARING WHATSOEVER on that. Thats why it is a BONUS track, it's not even listed on the track listing for the album.
Say it with me.
BONUS. NOT "new final song according to the Chemical Brothers"
