So I'm calling it...
If Coachella 2009 = Rynostar then Rynostar = EPIC FAIL!!!!
after looking long and hard at the stars and charts (and bank accounts), I have come to the conclusion stated above. It is a result of
a. quitting my job today because
b. Really need to focus in on school in the final few weeks before I
c. start my placement at the Symphony so I can complete my program and get my certificate and then
d. start up next year to finish my diploma and following bachelors over the next 3 years.....
yah that goes a little to broad picture at the end. What does this mean. The money I have saved up right now will probably go to my Fuji Rock '10 (not 09) fund. Which is the most likely time chems will play in Japan again if they're ontrack with the release album at end of this year/start of next year plan. Long story done.

Good for you Ryno that your taking care of business and planning it all out for the future. I'm sure 2010 will come along pretty quick for another tour by the Chems. But hell yeah on your decision for Fuji Rock. Your the one and only Fujirocker I know!

Ugh - Olympia. Don't remind me. The 3 of us were close to going. We could have gone for a quick trip, like 4 days, and barely say within budget but it just wasn't meant to be so we couldn't force it. Plus there were too many obstacles aside from money standing in our way.
But ah well. It just means there's a chance to make up for lost time next month! :D

Yeah! Olympia FTL!!!
It was a tough one to miss. But I figure if some of us US fans do a trip over seas, we should maybe consider a deadhead-esq event of following Tom & Ed though out their tour while visiting Europe on the side. Assuming they do many shows over a mid-sized area of Europe in 2 or so weeks... I just got a steady job, so at least I'll be able to survive last attempt's short comings...

Jesus, why must we bring up Olympia...
uhhhhh, Rynostar... I'm so bummed to hear you cant make it. :(
Fuji rock 2010 you say? Hm... I think this might be my last Coachella for awhile, and I just might join you on that quest if the Chems should be there.
A new Canuck challenger arises? Hope to see you there Darkstar!
For you people with no Tickets yet, eBay is flooded with tickets right now you can save up to almost $100 with some auctions. Stubhub.com is still a little slow though, no really good deals yet. 2 weeks till the big day! :D

Maybe NEW STUFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF
But come on guys, they play as DJ's so I don't think they'll play many Chemical tracks...but we all know that they obviously listen to good music so if I were you, I wouldn't worry about the fact that they could play no chemical tracks in that set ! :D
Anyway, maybe you have chances to hear EBW 9 (more often played in DJ set than in live), and you can be sure to hear Hey Boy Hey Girl...

Well, they'll probably spin their unreleased version of Hey Boy Hey Girl, anyway. (Yeeeeeees)
I just listened to Impulsion - Clenched Fist today (which the Chems use in one of their unreleased dub plate mashups with "Go Back") and I really, really hope they spin that mashup. Mmmmmmmmmgoodness.
GOOD-NESS I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!

I'm willing to bet the Chems might have some new goodness they'll throw into the set in. If they don't, well, it's not like I have that much money in my checking account to wager anyway! :P
No 2 sets are really ever the same. The first time I saw them DJ at Coachella in 2001 they played a primarily a mix of other peoples' tunes sprinkled with their own material (including It Began In Afrika which hadn't been released at that time).
When I saw them DJ to support their release of Singles in 2003, a very large portion of their set was made up of their own material.
As for what all they'll play this time around - we'll just have to wait and listen.
12 days! 12 DAYS!
Yay!

@Pooter:
"What we're gonna do right here is go back, way back, back into time...
When the only people that existed were troglodytes, cave men, cave women, Neanderthal, troglodytes. Let's take the average
cave man at home, listening to his stereo. Sometimes he'd get up,
try to do his thing. He'd begin to move, something like this:
'Dance...dance'. When he got tired of dancing alone, he'd look
in the mirror: "Gotta find a woman gotta find a woman gotta find a
woman gotta find a woman". He'd go down to the lake where all the
woman would be swimming or washing clothes or something. He'd look
around and just reach in and grab one. "Come here...come here".
He'd grab her by the hair. You can't do that today, fellas, cause
it might come off. You'd have a piece of hair in your hand and she'd
be swimming away from you (ha-ha). This one woman just lay there,
wet and frightened. He said: "Move...move". She got up. She was a
big woman. BIG woman. Her name was Bertha. Bertha Butt. She was one
of the Butt sisters. He didn't care. He looked up at her and said:
"Sock it to me sock it to me sock it to me sock it to me sock it to me
sock it to me sock it to me sock it to me!". She looked down on him.
She was ready to crush him, but she began to like him. She said
(falsetto):
"I'll sock it to ya, Daddy". He said: "Wha?". She said (falsetto):
"I'll sock it to ya, Daddy". You know what he said? He started it way
back then. I wouldn't lie to you. When she said (falsetto)
"I'll sock it to ya, Daddy" he said "Right on! Right on! Hotpants!
Hotpants! Ugh...ugh...ugh".
