Two Observations I made today on the subject of EBW9:
1. Why is there a hook that says "making calculation onto GENERATE sensation," and yet there's another song called Burst Generator, coincident?
2. During the live shows between the long segue from Believe and We Are The Night, the cowbell is the exact same as the 1st half of the loop from EBW9. Don't believe me listen and compare...

Indeed Biff, it's the same cow bell. But it doesn't surprise me that much if they use same samples in different contexts. If I can remember correctly they used this certain crash (with that birdy sound)many many times. For me it became a trademark of them.
Oh holy shit, this intro to We Are The Night sounds sooo psychedelic and cool, where's the damn 2nd July. I want this album, now!!!!!!

Amazon.com has a listing for a limited edition of WATN. I've tried looking for more details, but so far, nothing. I've also looked on British retailer sites (HMV, Amazon.co.uk) but no luck.

man i know the whole argument against downloading music etc but i did
i'll go to hell for that one day :D - nah actually, i'll buy the album asa it's proper released - just as i did every one their other albums.
but in between times, i'll listen to the chems most accomplished and wicked album to date. this is a serious return to form - with pretty much every tune. and best of all - just to add to it - they're closing rockness on sat night (inverness festival in case you don't know it).
if you don't have a ticket yet, they're still going - www.ticketmaster.co.uk. the best venue you can think of for a fest. check this - www.rockness.co.uk. there's a load other good bands playing too - plus the weather's actually looking ok. forget t in the park - glasto even - try this.
we're doing a wee tour of all the smaller scottish festivals this year - and there's loads btw. anyone that missed kasabian at skye . . . well, you missed out. nothing quite like a scottish festival with snow on the mountains (no shit - there was snow - at the end of may). it's all good. check the scottish sites for more details. these things are way better than your typical commercial bullshit fests.
but first and foremost - listen to this album. it's way way good. after that, find a way to get off your work fri to tues and join us rockness :D

After listening to this album 1002 times...in the car, at home, studying, pre-partying, and walking...I gotta say TPWHYN and Battle Scars really grew on me...I was kinda indifferent in the begginning...but now...I find them amazing...Anyway, anyone made up the lyrics for TPWHYN yet? Here's what I got...

Hello djsdjs - I myself am interested in grabbing myself a limited edition but haven't seen much more info on it other than what you've posted here. Hopefully someone will know more details because I'm sure lots will be interested.

ok, I got another question...so i was browsing amazon...and i came up with a limited edition of WATN that is released on June 19th (not july)...it says it's an import (and it costs a whoping $43!)...I wonder what's on the limited edition? Anyone? Here's the link...

That's what I thought too at first...But, it says EMI/Virgin for the label...There's another WATN that's an import (from Japan) and it's released June 21st, and the label says Toshiba...So, I doubt it's the Japanese release...but, I could be wrong...Should I toast 43 bucks to find out what's on this limited edition? Oh man...

Either that or the Lim Ed will have the interview disc (which i would assume they'll have, as they always have)... But the Australian idea is good too. hopefully it's more than just a nifty "gatefold" version.
