I just picked up the Sabres of Paradise - Tow Truck - Chemical Brothers Mix, in a second hand vinyl shop. Have I been fortunate enough to pick me up a rarity? or is it a duff'n that they'd rather forget? (cos it aint listed in the remixes section on this site)....

The remix itself is not rare. It can be found on a number of compilation albums. It is hard to find an original vinyl or cd by Sabres with the remix on it. It took me 2 years to find the Versus cd. I wouldn't consider it rare just very hard to find. If you picked it up for a low price you are lucky and the shopowners are a bit slow. Can you give me their adress? ;-)

OK thats cool. It is the original 12" and it cost me 6 quid so I guess thats a good buy? Will file under 'retirement fund' with my bassbin twins eps...

Way back when, i purchased Digital Empire 2 (one of, in not, the greatest electronic complilation cds) and track 2 on the second cd contains SoP - Tow Truck (Chem Brothers Mix). Great remix, reminds me of a lot of the Exit Planet Dust era.
