It's only minimal because you're playing it too low and not hearing shit

Its not minimal, go out and buy a cd by the likes of Ellen Alien or Richie Hawtin then you see what minimal is.

Regardless of what it is, minimal is still good to listen to.

If I had admin powers, I would use the language filter to censor the word minimal, so it would come out as 'I love man-flesh'

Are you electronic-music-history-retarded? Better question: do you know what a tb-303 is? How the term "acid" came to be? The root of acid as you know it IS rave music/techno (phuture's "Acid Trax") which was very much techno (house, rather). Completely unrelated to LSD, this style of electronic music was born out of the fluidity of the 303's slide function. There isn't much 303 at all on WATN, actually, if ANY. Probably some future retro revolution work, but nothing that distinctively "acid".

The entire album is absolutely drenched in LSD influence though. (see: the 60's)

Haha, yes, where do these people come up with genres? I think its because they read that email that used "acid" as an adjective for the new album.

Now that I think about it, just about all the songs on WATN are pretty much genre-less. I can place AMMC, but thats mostly it. Its pretty pointless too unless you're trying to write a history about the Chems or something.

**Flash to a garbage can out in front of their studio with a 303 on top in the rain... well probably not, but the Revolution is more up to date with midi and what not

hahahaha, nooooooo!! That very thought would probably bring a tear to their eye and a shuddering sob to their throats!

I once read somewhere that the Chems never part with equipment, ever.
