Well, there certainly are dates in Europe. They're a €30 flight away =)

Guys, you should really see Orbital on this tour. Mind-blowing, top of their game.

Oh, and they finally got rid of Doctor Who theme and finished with a storming version of Where is it going?

I assume you were in Gdynia at open'er ? ;) Me too :) It was awesome.
Great lightwork and a lot of synth action.
They could have add more old stuff though. I'm missing "the box", "the saint" "lush" "p.e.t.r.o.l"
Nothing from "In Sides"? oh c'mon!

Anyway I was waiting for this for like 16 years. Outstanding.

Edit: Full Concert:

Yeah, I was at Open'er. Mediocre lineup this year for me but Orbital were superb. I've even got an autograph :)

It was a part of the Wonky tour, so a lot of the old favorites were left out. They've played The Box and Lush in 2009 when I saw them in Krakow.

I did get to see them in San Francisco in 2010--very thankful for that. Got to see quite the lineup of amazing, classic Orbital tracks.

But I definitely yearn to see the new stuff!!!

Yeah! I've finally got the chance to go to a concert, and no one's touring in the states right now. Hope Orbital announces something.

I Break Horses is coming to Chicago soon but that'll be on a Monday.

I was lucky enough to see them in a small Sydney venue in May, excellent show. Best show I've seen for ages.

Orbital is coming to the States!!!

Unfortunately, the show they're playing in San Francisco is happening on a Monday. MONDAY, FFS. X-( Dislike.

Nonetheless, I am going to do whatever it takes to see them because they are amazing.

@Whitenoise: I don't see any Chicago dates on the list on their website, but the San Francisco date has not yet posted, so all hope is not yet lost. It may be they're trying to work out a good date to come to that part of the country.

::sigh::

Orbital is now playing the Beyond Wonderland craptastic festirave.

So, instead of paying $32 to see Orbital in a rather awesome, intimate venue in San Francisco, I get to go to a fucking parking lot in Oakland and pay $92.

I don't give two shits about the rest of the crap DJs on the lineup and I don't want to party in a parking lot like it's 1992. The hell is this world coming to...

I'm really torn about going. Fuck.

I see Insomniac are still holding last-minute parking lot raves.. :/

I don't know man. That's a tough call. I'd be torn, too...

Thanks for the heads up! I checked Songkick for a more complete listing... the closest is still North Carolina, no Chicago (or closer) dates yet. But there is a month long gap between the California shows and the North Carolina shows, so it's very likely they're doing like you said. Got my hopes up anyway.

Pretty sweet video, yeah.

Still a little grumbly about being denied my Orbitalz, but I'll hold out hope for the future...

I'm bummed they skipped the entire middle part of the country, for whatever reason. Honestly with my classes I probably wouldn't have been able to go see them anyway.

I need to move closer to the west coast. Everyone plays there!

This is true. You should make the trek out for Coachella one year; the Chems will likely play there at some point again! :D
