I think the John Butler trio and Xavier Rudd have some really good beach music.

Well I guess I really have nothing to complain about but I've never really felt anything freezing before so I can't compare experiences.

I guess I'm still in summer mode where I still wear my tongs like everywhere so i guess that whats making me cold. :D

You can't handle 28 degrees ey Chemical Fan...try 42...that was totally harsh that one time ;-)

But melbourne ya see you just donno what you can get...we are in a pretty bad drought at the moment...we even have water restrictions.

last summer though was weird 'cos it was boiling hot for like 3 days straight, then on the forth day it pissed down flooding the whole city...fucking strange shit
its a little early but thanks anyway

I think one of the hottest times I've ever been was last summer when I went to Arizona in July, 'stash's dad moved there and has been trying to get us to migrate ever since. It was well over 100 degrees and dry as a bone. It literally hurt just to walk outside and it sucked the life right out of me. Middle of summer and there wasn't one child playing out in the streets because it was so damn hot. It was quite something at night though, Arizona just outside of Phoenix more in the boonies has an incredible skyscape of stars that glitter all across the desert sky.

Hottest I've ever experienced was 132 degress Fahrenheit (around 45-48 Celsius, if I'm not mistaken) in the Black Hills of South Dakota. God was that a hot day strewn with tornados.

Coldest was last winter when we hit -50 Fahrenheit (around -50 Celsius). Fucking cold.

I don't know if anyone already mentioned this, but Sublime's epononymous album is great summer time music...

Not that much. We tried to stay in air conditioned buildings and restaurants as much as possible. Actually, we were stuck with about 2 weeks worth of vacation supplies in a mid-1980s Honda Civic (little shitbox) and it had no air conditioning and I had no room at all while we were in the car. Eventually I got heatstroke and threw up for the better part of 12 hours after driving all the way from South Dakota back to Winnipeg (1200 kilometres) in one day.

Drank LOTS of water at Coachella though. Spent $50 USD in 2 days on water alone.

Today it was over 40 Celsius with the humidity index here.

Ugh, heat stroke!!

And being trapped in a car with no room and no a/c. That sounds utterly nightmarish!!

Water: a vital necessity at Coachella if you want to be alive for the Chemical Brothers!!

With the humidity index, yesterday was 44 degrees Celsius. So bizarre that I live in a city that regularly hits 40 above and 40 below...... I think it may be the largest temperature range experienced by a city with over 1/2 million people. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Vibrasphere - Lime Stuctures

Moshic - Prog House from Israel

Both amazing Prog House albums, the Moshic one came free with DJ Mag and Lime Structures i picked up at a very starnge record shop in Camden, both brilliant though. Very dark and very atmospheric.
