Thats not a shame. That's a good thing!

Affleck was the bomb in Phantoms.

wierd, I'm reading a Dean Koontz (the guy who wrote Phantoms) book right now.

I was actually quoting Jay in Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back...

Saw Snakes on a plane, n how muchever i love samuel jackson, the film was shit. just pure yank masala film, with anyone else in the film, i would have stopped in 15 mins, but wanted to see what sam jackson has been upto lately, n he's sad. Noone has used his real coolness like Tarantino, this is way worse than Shaft. At least he still looked slick in that.

Nochnoi Dozor (Night Watch)

yup, that hyped Russian flick. Expected more from it. Cool visual effects though. Curious what will happen in Day Watch.

Underworld: Evolution

The first one was better. Better story, better acting. I dug the scene with the chopper though, that was pretty cool. And that bat-like dude was bad-ass. Werewolves looked extremely fake.

I liked Night Watch... but the best thing about it was that it made me pick up the book, which is incredible.

I watched Underworld 2, and honest to god, it was so forgetable I couldn't remember what happened right when it was over.

i saw the isslusionist the other day, it was good if you like fantasy movies

but the exsplaintions for most of the magic tricks was quite shallow,

personly i thought it had two manys theams going, one of fantasy one of a genious mechanics and one of political revoution, it would of been good if they made more than a breif mention of each

The hype with snakes on a plane is that it is the first film to take what people were saying on the net and to incorperate into the film refilming scenes and includeing lines that fans suggested. Not that it really matters if the film is shit though is it:lol:

If it doesn't get a Best Picture Oscar nomination, I will go postal. I was expecting a movie so bad it was good. I was wrong. It was just straight awesome.

The whole point of Snakes on a Plane was that it was meant to be bad And it was, pure shit about to runneth over the brim of a clogged toilet. It was everything I expected it to be - nothing more and nothing less. It was an entertaining ride and I laughed my ass off. Or maybe that was the magic brownies doing the giggling.

n i wasn't really aware of the net talk n the history, but i could understand the current flying scare psyche and what the idea could do to some easy film people. :P
