Coachella really is terrible. Trudging from one line for water to one patch of shade, the sun beating you so relentlessly you wouldn't hear it if jesus and all the choirs of heaven started singing right next to you, and then, right before you're about to drop dead from exhaustion, you have to shove yourself to the front of a tent where some third rate DJ is abusing the sound system, and the air itself is a fog of rancid sweat from filthy fucktards gathered there, and right before you die, if you're lucky, you get to hear the chemical brothers. Somehow, their magic powers fill you with life for an hour, or an hour and a half, tops, and then it ends, and you spend 4 hours waiting to get out of the parking lot.
Seriously, I'd rather have massive dentistry sans anesthetic.
Two of the best days of my life..... Of course, I did go to the coldest Coachella ever... at around 27 C...... :)

So far, me likee. Only at the 15:00 mark, mind, but so far so good.

MSTRKRFT - The Looks (album)
Excellent disc. Only 8 tracks, unfortunately, which makes it not the best bang for your buck, but if you're a fan of bleepy, handclap-filled electro house, this is the shizzy.
MSTRKRFT consists of the bassist from Death From Above 1979 (one of my favourite bands) and their producer and I'll be seeing them on Monday, along with a DJ set by The Juan MacLean and another guy whose name escapes me at the moment.

Ahhh! They remixed Wolfmother's "Woman" recently. It's a great little bleepy electro remix of a great song. I sought of hated this whole sudden onset of electro, but I am slowly starting to like more of it. :)
np. The Grates - Science is Golden. Hmmmm not bad.
