I'm anti-Apple but he was indeed a visionary, and icon and should earn everyone's respect. When icons die, that is the time when I start to find out what people are really like because people will say what they wouldn't normally say in real life, on Facebook. Empty bastards.
RIP Brotha.

Rest in peace, cancer is really a terrible plague. And Iggy, it´s true that people is cruel under the mask of Internet anonymity, but Jobs wasn´t a saint. There were a great wave of suicides among China Apple factory workers, and he didn´t give a fuck. When you run a megacompany with questionable ethics, you can´t expect to go criticism-free.

He was visionary and was the mind behind some innovative technical revolutions based on the single idea of thinking different. I was sad to hear the news but I wasn't shocked. He'd been long suffering.
be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle

My dog (a bitch actually) died of the same disease 6 years ago, I'm not joking.
That's all I have to say.
That's all I have to say.

This news was quite sad -- you don't realize how badly someone is doing until they're dead, and Steve Jobs... during the time when he was becoming most ill, he was also working the hardest (or at least he was the most successful) during the last few years. It's rather tragic that the most recent string of successes that Apple has had were the short, declining years of his life.
