Dude, I saw a bottle of root beer schnapps in one of those pics... you snowbacks will drink anything!

Glad you lived, hope your liver isn't as tender as mine.

It's a skateboarding hoodie. It's reasonably warm (I wasn't wearing my jacket much in Virginia, MN) but not for a real winter.

And 'stash, I didn't buy the root beer schnapps, but I did have a twelve-ounce glass that was a combination of it, vodka, and sourpuss. X-D

I can't tell about how tender the liver is because of all the snowboarding bruising on top of it. Same goes for the kidneys. I'm feeling not too bad right now though.

I'm sorry to read about your phone, man. And your minor concussion. And your liver. I felt drunk after reading about your New Year's bender!

They are (non-identical) twins if that heats things up a bit. ;-) I adore them both. They are wicked partyers too.

The others are no slouches either.

I only had one drug over the holidays, booze, but I made the most of it (well, a bit of pot too before and after the trip, but not much). That night at and after the Avalon at your place, 'stash, I had five drugs that night alone. X-D Good times. ;-)

Good news! Looks like my contact list can be saved. The backlight on the LCD is not functioning and the battery is toast, but the phone powered up with a new battery. Just can't see anything on the screen. So I'll either be able to get the phone fixed or get a new one and transfer everything over. Sweet.

And my liver and head seem to be back to normal. All things A-OK!

Wicked adventure you had, Darkstar!

About your cellphone, it's a bummer it broke, hope all the contacts can be recovered (especially the hot girl!). I have a little book that I use to store a backup of all my cellphone contacts, b/c it was freaking annoying to lose all those phones some years ago. It's kinda primitive to use one, but it proved useful quite a few times. ;-)

I generally try to keep things written down in my old handy dandy phone book, too. Then again, I've only had a cell phone for about a year and a half. For some reason though, with cell phones and phone numbers being practically disposable these days as well as people moving around and not staying put, it's hard to keep the contacts up to date in written form.

Contact list retrieved. I took it to the provider and was able to get it to power up and get the screen display working (albeit with no backlight). I sat for about ten minutes writing out about 70 or so contacts from my list.

Looks like the battery is functional, but the charging port and the backlight are screwed. I have no warranty left and fixing the phone is likely going to be prohibitively expensive. So I'll probably buy a new phone, which is even more prohibitively expensive but at least I'll have a brand new phone that I actually like. And most importantly, the efforts I've made chatting up the last few weeks (and the friends and dealers numbers I had stored) were retrieved. Phew!
