I recommend every goes check them out for themselves, before deciding or being influenced by anyone elses opinions. You can listen to their album for free at www.thesecretmachines.com.

Did anyone get any pics of them at Manchester?

Discotheque Dave Escribi:

Dom Escribi:

The Secret Machine were dire, absolutely dreadful. Our party were all shroomin and tbh it was the last thing we needed really...seemed to go on forever. 'Chemicals were fantastic though. Will definitely turn up a couple of hours late next time X-D

you sad bastard. Anyone who takes mushrooms is an arsehole in my eyes. The Secret Machines were probably the best band i've ever seen and i cant understand why they were'nt headlining the gig so they could have done a 2 hour set full of radically different but quality tunes instead of these Carmichael Brothers whoever they are.

pisser X-D

If the secret machine provide the soundtrack to your discotheque's dave then I'll adopt an elephant 8O

I can see why people weren't too keen on secret machines. Compared to the album, which i really like, they were much rockier and darker, it sounded less produced, but i prefer the sound on record tbh. not necessarily the best warm up for chemical brothers, especially not if you're on mushrooms!!! ;)

chems were amazing. the out of control/temptation/star guitar section was absolutely incredible.

anyone else go to plump djs afterwards? good? wanted to go but met up w friends elsewhere instead...

another quite memorable moment was the bassline from believe appearing from nowhere, you dirty cheeky cheeky dirty bastards!!! 8)
