Beethoven is okay. My fave are Alexander Borodin and Peter Tchaikovsky (russian composers). USA dont have good classical composers! They SUCK my SOCK! (yes, SOCK!)

Another great Russian composer (most amazing hands of all time) - Sergey Rachmaninov

Barber - Adagio for Strings

:) This is a really gorgeous piece - and better left untouched imo. I wasn't too enthralled with William Orbit's take on it. Sounded like he hooked up a symphony to a midi. Some things are just sacred, you know?

There is in fact one "cover" of this that is really great. Relic Entertainment used a variation of Barber's work in their game "Homeworld". Beautiful choirs, and it just fits the whole setting.

I've always liked Vivaldi's "Four Seasons" back in school. And, of course, Johann Strauss' "The Blue Danube Waltz" ("An der schnen blauen Donau") is a wonderful piece of classical music.

Barbers Adagio for strings is 'kin awesome.

I love the tracks that remix a classical track or contain a classical sample; Hybrid: Unfinished Symphony, Cygnus X: The Orange Theme (moonman's orange juice mix), stuff like that.

Believe what....?
