Live drums ruin everything, take Prodigy's shows for example, i want them juicy beats directly from Tom and Ed.

depends.. Squarepusher had a live drummer on his 2008 tour playing along to some pretty electronic tunes and it was insane.

I just noticed something : the drums from Horse Power are quite similar to the demo version of It Began in Afrika

I just heard the full of Further and my reations are the same as Ben_J. (PS : D'ailleurs salut à toi, je vois que tu viens de France, comme moi :D)

My favorite tracks are Swoon, Espace Velocity, Snow, and Dissolve.

Really a great album, massive sounds, I love it !

has anyone mentioned but horsepower is the sickest tune the chems have done in a long time! i thought i'd heard the best drums ever when i'd heard saturate the first time, but the terror drums on horsepower are bad!

don't know what to think of the album yet, too overwhelmed.

Great album, not a revolution but the best of chemicalness we love without frustrating collaborations.
Not historic anthem like Block Rockin Beat or Hey Boy Hey Girl (maybe Horse Power ?) but a really good musical piece.

Right, I've listened to Further now twice through and on second hearing I personally think Horse Power drags on too long. I love it a lot but it just seems to go on forever, same with Escape Velocity.
Well, I've done negativity so on to the positives.... WOW.
Well done Tom and Ed.
Snow is an epic opener and definitely has to be played through proper speakers. (I've played once through 120W floorstanders and the other was through little 20 something W iPod speakers - massive difference!)
The major highlights for me are Another World and Dissolve which I think are both fantastic tunes.
(I'll also add that Another World caught my Dad's attention and he came in from the garden to listen to the rest of the album with me)
Horse Power is awesome but it just seems to keep going and it makes me think of old nights off my face just trying desperately to carry on despite coming down and feeling tired.
When Swoon hits though everything takes off again and it's just brilliant isn't it? I love the full version.
K+D+B -10/10!
Wonders Of The Deep I got exactly what I was expecting, pure perfection. I think this is one of their greatest tunes for sure and when I was between the floorstanders I pretty much had an epiphany, totally understanding the visualisations where the woman breaks the water surface. It's certainly left a smile on my face that'll be around for a while.
Can't wait to get my physical copy - I've ordered one for Dad too :)
Thanks Tom and Ed

Truly a gift for all the Surrender fans. Can't wait to hear Further live on a proper sound system (c'mon, Sonar!)

Favorite track? K+D+B. I've already made an awesome mashup I can't post.

Sure, it's All My Friends by LCD Soundsystem. I'd got the idea days ago after listening to Further preview snippets.

After many listens, Dissolve is definitely my favourite. Followed closely by K+D+B and Wonders of the Deep

Possible Spoilers(?)
--------------------

I agree: Dissolve is insanely great! It is my favorite along with EV and Swoon.

Dissolve has such a great beat! And I love that flangey synth! And how it leads into Horse Power (the beat in this part sounds really familiar... I feel like I've heard it live).

Another World is so beautiful... I love how it builds up, goes into a subtle synth line, then builds up again, the ending is just great.

This album is mixed SO WELL! And their are those trademark subtleties that I am only starting to hear.

Wonders of the Deep was overwhelming. Still trying to make out the lyrics, but I can already tell that I like them
    I feel high from listening to thisssss!

I think my favorite ones are Escape Velocity (of course !) and Horse Power (awesoooooooome !), followed by Dissolve (this track reminds me the Surrender era B-sides) and K + D + B.
Roses are red
Violets are blue
And I will rape
Each one of you

It's incredible. What made it more awesome on first listen is that I couldn't remember a single bit of Dissolve from the Roundhouse for some reason. So when it kicked in after that rising tension it was like having the wind knocked out of me
