just starting listening to them this weekend and have to say what a brillant band. got substance and have to say every track is brillant. especially love tempation and true faith. any word on their next album?

Wow, i'm listening to Confusion at this very moment :) Way to repetitive. I liked the way Public Domain built it up and broke it down in their version.
I only have the album with the track Crystal and i've not really listened to it properly.
Are they as good as people say they are, or just over rated?

According to a source close to the band, the mixing of the new album should be done by the end of September, so the new album should be ready by the end of October.
I am super excited!!!! HOLY shit, that will just make my year.

Rumour states Peter Hook himself, and several websites on the internet now lists March as the official release date for the yet untitled album.
Don't take a vacation then though, it's New Order, so it'll be ready when it's be ready. Rumours also stated that one of their producer either left or have been fired, leaving the other one alone, but we don't know if it was Steven Street or John Leckie.
On the other hand, if you can't wait to hear new music from New Order, their collaboration on Gwen Stefani's upcoming solo album will be available in November, we don't know which track it is now.
