hm 250 Euros for Europe, December 8... I think I'll import my Wii from the States, it's cheaper coz $1 = 0,8€...

I like a lot of the shit they're doing with this thing, giving you a free game with the bundle, the low price, the built in Web-TV stuff, but, and I'm not just nintendo bashing here, the graphics are shit. They look like first generation xbox graphics.

the graphics are not the game... I have much more fun playing Super Mario Bros. rather than Halo 38 with supa-dupa-realistic-kick-ass graphics...

And theres's a difference between beautiful graphics and realistic graphics... Test Drive Unlimited, for instance, is uggly...

In addition, very closely linked to graphics in a game is physics. There very closely linked. The better the graphics a system can do, the better physics it can do. And physics are very important to game play. There's games coming out now where the entire environment is destructible, where every thing in the room can be used as some kind of weapon, where the physics allow you to do things like, oh, cut a rope, and that drops a chandelier on a table, then the table tips over and and falls into a bookcase that crashes down and crushes the guys you'd have to be fighting. I like shit like that. I like games where you can improvise and get to the same spot in 10 different ways, and none of that is possible without cutting edge graphics.



but I'm going to have one anyway, so it doesn't really matter.

I actually knew all of those, except for the Gamecube. I figured it might.



Like I said, I love all the shit it's gonna do, except I hate the graphics.



It's like having every single television show and movie of all time, but you have to watch them on a black and white screen.

don't worry about the graphics, watch videos of Mario Galaxy, I'm sure you'll be pleased...

im buying one why? because i still have just as much fun playing xbox games as xbox360 games, for me graphics dont matter as long as i can see what im doing (a unfortinite problem with n64 games) for me the most important part of the game is well gameplay espcialy since i mostly play video games when im with my freinds and the wii is perfect for that , its going to have a large library of games that are going to be cheap and thats just what i want.

We're going to probably look into reserving one for our son, that's the main reason we're getting a Wii. If all goes to plan (meaning if some kids at school don't tell him that St. Nick ain't real) this console be the last big present he'll get from Santa Claus. It might as well be a whopper!

He knows what day it's coming out, and I'm certainly not gonna tell him he can't have it the day it drops.

I think we should make him wait, tell him Santa has a terminal illness and might not make it to next Christmas, and he would love nothing more than to give Connor the Nintendo Wii.

Even in my family we celebrated Christmas (because the concept of Hanukkah Harry just wasn't gonna cut it). I kind of got the hint at 7 years old when I heard my parents rustling around in the attic and in their closets on Christmas eve. So I asked my older brother about it on Christmas day and he hesitantly spilled the beans. I wasn't bothered by it. To be honest Christmas was always a stressful and miserable time in my household, so the less fuss the better. But I will be sad when my son realizes we've been putting him on all this time. Christmas is his most favorite time of year.
