Shitty shit , that was not exactly what I tried to express with "you know what it sounds like". There's honestly nothing wrong with releasing a polished EBW 9. I'd like to hear that too in the first place (or second, right after you), really! What I rather meant was to get that surprising moment I always talk about like a stupid nerd, you know. That's why I was not listening to that album prematurely to preserve me that moment -to be. Doing it though wouldn't change or affect the brilliance of that track or these tracks, but you would already know what to come. I hope I'm talking sense somehow, otherwise completely ingore me Whirly ;-). As for the 40 tunes: for good measure I said ideas instead of finished tracks, hahaha, but I wished Ed would have said this to nail him down on his statement  . Bwah. No of course not, i'm fine with all things they'll offer us. But I'd going ape if ED would come by, reading this and think about releasing this mind-blowing IDEA after all, heheh .

I know this may just go by the wayside (since i'm bumping an old post on an already overdone topic), but I happened to take another few listens to the 'animal song'....
It sounds a lot like the deep bass beats made their way into the center section of EBW7 and the chord hits had already been turned into Galvanize.

Hell while i'm totally bringing up old crap, that Intro song from Brixton 05 sounds like it became Harpoons (and the reworked Snooprah)
Dunno if either of these comments have been posted previously, but it's late and i'm busy having a 1 man listening party while i'm coding.

yah to bad tom and ed shelved it. It kinda makes me wonder if in there down time between their gigs in aussie land and Coachella where we're all 'rumoring' about them play it if they'll have time in the studio to do something new or go back to this track.

The only thing "animal track"-esque in their set is just the visuals during the Don't Fight bootleg.
Before they go back to working on it, they should have another go at that "Here Come the Drums" song and try to find the perfect drums for it, seeing as how there've been 5 years for the perfect drums to have been made.
