this is probably going to be one of my favorite chemical brothers songs even though i only heard the first 2 minutes of it.

what do you guys think of it.

Anticipation to hear this on the album is paramount!!! I've almost worn out the Youtube of the 2005 intro.

we have to wait with our enthusiasm about wonders of the deep. i mean, all we know are the first 30 secs of the track which is indeed similar to the live intro track of 2005. but what about the rest? think of silver drizzle. they also used an intro which was around for a long time, but the rest is, yes, silver drizzle.

3 options about wonders of the deep:

live intro 2005 + the track we all know from youtube
live intro 2005 + a new track
live intro 2005 + the one and only problems/questions/animal track

i also think it's option 1 cause it would work perfect for a closing track on further.

i dont think it will turn into problem question, becuase it does not go at all with the beggining of the song, but im not really sure at all what there going to do for the rest of the song

Speaking of, has anyone who has heard the clips properly spotted any of the further tracks in the latenight psychtronik mix? It has been on my mind for a few days now.

On reading this you guys just reminded me, there was a couple of things I remember hearing before goin to sleep while listening to the latenight_mix. There are elements of other songs and some little hints at things from this album....man, I can barely remember any of them now. I'll make a point to listen to this tonight and see if I remember what it was. There is a song that's slowed down - like REALLY slowed down - that I felt was familiar.

just heard wond at round house, to be honest, im not in love with it as much as i heard the little bit on sneaks video,

it sounds great but i dont love the lyrics, it should have been instrumental, also way to short, it needs 3 more minutes.

I like it but I think it sounds too much like Surface To Air. In fact it could be a remix of STA.

Probably not my favorite track on Further.

I'll reserve judgement on the vocals until i have the album and have heard it proper, they sound good from the clips though. Like I said in another thread I was expecting a big long epic track to finish the album with but again I'll reserve judgement until hearing the full version. It maybe that it just works better as a shorter and sharper track. I always thought Surface to Air could have done with another couple of minutes. Maybe I'll feel the same about WOtD.

I'd hope they added a tweak or ten to it though... the youtube videos do no justice for me.
Either way, from what we have all heard, and some lucky few have heard all of, it's not bad imo.
The physical album itself will be the only thing that passes judgment on my part, either way I'll still love it.

maybe they will make it longer before the album comes out, or maybe it is longer on the album, you never know

The album is finished and out there. Its wwwaaaaaayyyy to late for them to make changes to it.
