You two are idiots if your going to end the Chemical Brothers duo. It's ok and normal to do your own things but maybe you should explain to your fans that at times you two like to do your own projects but still as The Chemical Brothers. I think you both need to grow up, it does something to the fans if they think The CBrothers are going their own way and trust me it won't work out right for either of you. I still will never understand why people don't explain things going on to their fans, it pisses everyone off. I still loved Tom's work though.

I have been on this forum for well over 10 years. People have been speculating the Chems breaking up since CWU. If they say they'll do an album next year they'll do an album. Thom Yorke's solo work didn't mark the end of Radiohead, etc etc etc.

This right here. The whole "are they gonnabreak up?" has been asked time and again in between album lulls. It is a natural concern because we don't know 100% what someone else's future holds.
Tom and Ed dig being the Chemical Brothers. They are allowed to do things on their own, and I think they might've reached that point where perhaps they feel more at ease doing so.
On the other hand, it's good to see people like the Chems so much and want them to stick around, they are upset enough to voice their concern on their message board. I think we'd all be seriously bummed if we didn't have a united Tom and Ed project to look forward to!
