I can assure you that not once in my years following the Chems have I ever thought of them quitting or have they ever made me wonder or speculate that they might quit!
There's nothing wrong for doing something on the side...is there?
Anyway
BTW! £7.75 is cheapest so far!

Those guys above are just trying to trick you. The Chemical Brothers sadly officially broke up months ago:

Tom's barber career is well under way - in fact, he created the sounds in the song Through Me using recordings of electric razors. Was a one off record for RSD.

This right here. The whole "are they gonnabreak up?" has been asked time and again in between album lulls. It is a natural concern because we don't know 100% what someone else's future holds.
Tom and Ed dig being the Chemical Brothers. They are allowed to do things on their own, and I think they might've reached that point where perhaps they feel more at ease doing so.
On the other hand, it's good to see people like the Chems so much and want them to stick around, they are upset enough to voice their concern on their message board. I think we'd all be seriously bummed if we didn't have a united Tom and Ed project to look forward to!
Peace, <3 & Chemicals!
