This old man,
he play beats,
He don't need no music sheets,
but with a snip-snip-snippy-snip
gave his mop a chop,
Old man hairstyles are a flop.

Awww... damn I'd love to see this. DAMN. Just checked the law school academic schedule--it's likely a no go. :-(

Awesome that the Bros are headlining Ultra, though!!!!!

They wouldn't just do one show in the US, so no matter what they'll be closer to us (California), assuming they don't play in Maine.
Either way I'd love to see them again since I wasn't close at the last two shows, I need to get the proper experience again.

I just mentioned this to my housemate and showed him last year's lineup. He's a little drunk (yes, on a Monday) but said he's down for sure. So I'm going to hold him to that. I wanted to go to Ultra last year but all my friends backed out and we ended up going to Cancun instead but I'd really like to make this happen. Only problem is I'm supposed to be in England two weeks after Ultra (I have tickets to a Liverpool game) but we'll see what happens...

They could very well be doing the one-off show for Ultra. It's a huge deal to be headlining that festival. Arguably, it's the largest and most important electronic music festival in the States.

what?

Trentemoller, Royksopp, Boys Noize, Simian Mobile Disco, Laurent Garnier, Gui Boratto, Mr Oizo ... .... ....

This is one of the most outstanding lineups I have ever seen, and it's not closed yet

Ah, I hadn't seen Laurent Garnier !
But I was mainly talking about the headliners. The Chems are the only good ones (yeah Deadmau5 is overrated, and Carl Cox turned too mainstream).

By the way, Boys Noize and Mr Oizo are not very intersting. Mr Oizo is just a bad DJ (he often admits it) and Boys Noize always play some fidgetty saturated tracks, what becomes boring after a while.

I've never seen Mr. Oizo live, but I had great time at Boys Noize. Would like to see it again, almost 2hrs of jumping :). He actually throws some hell of a party.

agree. fidget house is only funny for a while. unfortunately all the music blogs are full with lame and boring fidget house. for me fidget house becomes the new minimal. fidget house tracks are too noisy nowadays, too much is going on, always the same synth. if even the black eyed peas do fidget tracks, the blogosphere should stop posting such tracks.

guetta should switch with cox, than day1 officially is douchebag day. garnier, rusko, chems are worth it.
