I have no idea who was behind this or where this came from, but PRO-SHOT FOOTAGE OF THE ENTIRE CHEMS SET FROM WOODSTOCK 99 was just uploaded to Youtube:

and it is fantastic. You can see almost everything Tom and Ed are doing on stage and the audio quality is sublime, save for a bit of echo from the crowd mix. Seriously, set an evening/night aside and give this a proper watch.

Holy smokes! Thank you and your keen chemical senses for digging that up!

I can only assume that this might be some sort of "leak" from someone who worked at those shows in one form or antoher. Back in 2008 when they played Wimbledon, I too noticed several cameras and recording equipment across the hall but as you know nothing has been release ever since, unfortunately. So my guess is, they record various shows to gather material to choose from for possible future releases (or just for their own pleasuer?).
Well, anyways, that's a marvellous find!

Btw, I didn't know they used these toy robots that early in their sets.
Bbtw, how cool is it to have In Glint on video in that great audio quality?!
Bbbtw, and Flashback! Moly holy...

Oh, I think this is going straight on DVD. I need that on a big screen.

That tune? 1.15.47 - 1.17.27
Tom Rowlands said : "The most important feature of the album is that it connects with us emotionally in some way. We hope for finding a new way to make you feel. We dream of new sounds and different frames. We have worked with some guest singers but mostly the album is pure Chemical Brothers."

Not an actual track, I suppose. It'll be most certainly a "mere" transition/ segue. Also, sounds like they "re-used" that from Sunshine Underground.

From the youtube? Original video? You kidding? It's just 800-900 kbps bitrate and i think that the original videofile have a more bitrate than that.
You can never download the original videofile from the youtube, it's fact.

Yeah, they're always compressed and tools only stream from the server as oneself would while watching.
I burned it to DVD today and it looks quite alright given the means. Would be neat, though, to have it in its original resolution quality.

Right! Okay. Because Youtube compresses it again upon uploading. Nevermind.

I'll message the guy, hopefully I'll get a response. Someone in the comments of that video asked where it came from and he just replied "magic buddy" in Polish sooo...

Wow, what a treat! I always loved the Woodstock '99 bootleg (really, what else besides the Chemical Brothers made it worth throwing another Woodstock?), and to have it now be perhaps the earliest full concert video we have from them definitely enhances that enjoyment. I must say though that I had no idea how basic their visuals were back in '99! It's like "Heaven And Earth Magic" for the rave generation. :)
I also love how they worked little samples from the original festival's crowd announcements into their set. And was that "Eight Miles High" sample done specifically in honor of the event? I remember someone mentioning it before but this is my first time hearing it.
(Someone better nab this before the Youtube police shut it down and put it on the FTP for future generations. I'm debating doing it myself but fear for my storage space.)

I saw them for the first time a few weeks later at Reading festival. Presumably this is a very similar set. Very excited to check it out.
