That's why you've got to go 2 gigs in 3 days. And more to come! Ticket=financial support. Or put another way, you've payed the screen.

Hey ya, that would be awesome. They could invest in new synths and gear settings then instead of stage devices and lasers 'n stuff.

Now... what would be interesting as far as fans paying for their gigs/equipment/visuals etc... is if we could get everyone on the board in one place at the same time.... now THAT would set the chems up for a while!!!

oh/.. and the clown, though cool... really fucking creepy! ( c:

Yeah I'm feeling the excitement building for the Amsterdam gig now aswell. It's exactly 561 days since I last saw the Chems live I've just calculated. In Belfast, where they opened with a really heavy version of HBHG and finished with the Reel and right as the last sounds were ringing out Tom and Ed turned to the screen and gave an Oriental style bow to a massive psychedelic image of George Best that had come up (he had been buried in Belfast that very morning) WHAT a moment.Anyway, the Dam in 9 days time.Travelling over the Thursday and home Saturday, figure we'll need the rest of the weekend to recover!!

$1000 for a chemical brothers show. I'd rather just go to a scheduled show and pay way less. Then spend the rest on other chemical shows! :)

Fuck Fuck FUCEKERDEFUCKY FUCK!

Ok. Breathe in breathe out. Inhale Exhale.

Just took a paracetamol , i'm hungover and i have an 8 hour rave up today

That was...wow.

That was just mindblowing.

That was exactly what i needed.

AND MY MUM TOO!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok so i will not bore you all to death with another one of my monster posts , but jeez that was so awesome.

I had a wicked spot first of all , right behind the mixing desk. The whole gig i was with my mum and Den_b ( Who is the sweetest kid ever and the biggest Chemical fan i know !!! ) and my mum was sitting down with the biggest grin on her face while me and Den where just going beserk.

The atmosphere was great, for a dutch crowd. At certain times the balcony i was on (it wasn't a balcony more like stage ) was bouncing so hard i thought it was gonna collapse! But this spot was amazing as i was looking right over the crowd and i could really experience the visuals and the Las0rs! "Laaaasoooor" hahahaha.

People i cannot explain how amazing those visuals are. They are SO amazing. the robots! THE ROBOTS!!!!!!

Highlight of THIS gig was Chemical Beats for me tho. I will never get tired of that wewewewewewe wewe wewewew sound. Its is brilliant. BRILLIANT I TELL YA!!!!!!

The crowd didnt respond much to new tunes , but older ones like HBHG, the roof was on fire!

Now i will tell you all the best part:

MY MUM :D

Some thoughts from my mum:

"You cannot LOOK and LISTEN at the same time because its to much!"

"The visuals of the woman bodies are so beautifull!" ( S2A )

"Its so great!"

"Ooooh wauw!"

Basicly , she had the biggest grin on her face. Strangers come up to her to party with her while she was sitting down! There were a LOT of older people there but my mum was so obviously having a great night! It was a bodning moment hahaha.

When the paintballs exploded ( Saturate ) She just went like "Ooooh!" with a huge smile and eyes that didnt know where to look anymore. At moments where the crowd exploded she was raving too , sitting down! It was awesome.

Ok kids i also have some cool pics but i have to get my laptop for that and thats in the room where Mips is sleeping so , u will have to wait ;-)

What a gig what a gig!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went so ape! Even my mum did the monkey!

And we had the best seats in the house!

I always used to go to the front where all the action is, but now that i discovered the visuals i dont think i will ever do that because the visuals!

I LOVE those robots!

My mum to she thought they wrere wicked!

People i love you aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalll!!!

Ah Yes, the dutchies recovered themselves from that numb Tilburg gig. Or maybe we were helped with some many English folk around.

What a gig. I was in the back of the venue, normally I am all the way up front. But this time I could see the visuals very well. And those are great. And the lasers with HBHG, All rights reversed and Star guitar!! WAUW!!!

The music was great more bleeps and beats, All rights reversed kicked ass, Chemical Beats Surface to air, Believe, Saturate, The Sunshine underground, all hightlights. But what brought the biggest grin on my face was a new encore track a Modern midnight conversation. YES!!!!

I want a Chemical Experience every week!!! I nééd my HEAD!!!

Tilburg just sucks. I've seen the chems there for the first time, and it was a huge letdown. The sound wasn't good, the show was too short, the venue just sucked. The Heineken Music Hall is 100 times better.

AMSTERDAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM

Omg what a night man it was just awesome!!!! I have no words for it!!

Since 2,5 years I’m into the chems, and this was the first time I saw them live. When I heard when this a’dam show was announced I freaked out totally. Since December 2006 I was waiting for this night. I think this is going to be an big review (jeanie c’mon I want a big monster post!!).

29 june I woke up early that day, man I was so excited jesus so excited!!! Waaah! I was really looking forward to it, but also to the forum people is was going to met. So I putted my pc that day on, and saw meeting at cs? I thought hmm, let’s call jeanie!! ‘’Heeeeeeeej dennis, heb je d’r zin in!!’’ :P So I asked again (I asked her thousand times where to meet) where do we meet, so It was I front of the hmh. At some point she was saying “err my food (egg?) is burning cya later”. It was still 9 hours to go to the gig, but I needed to leave early because there were many traffic jams. So in total It took me 5 hours to get there (aaaaaaaaaaargh) normally 2,5 or 3 hours.. In the car I was listening to the Glastonbury 2007 set, it was the first time I heard it, and man I was nervous for that hmh gig!! 17:00 needed to eat something, so I eated a schnitzel, and it was awful jikes bleeegh. This crap shit food arrgh I got pain in my stomach the whole time. So I arrived at the hmh, and I saw some busses backstage (vegetable visionaries? Tourbus?) First I went to the media markt and I heard burst generator I thought heh burst generator?? In this shop? So I searched for WATN and I found it wwwwwwwwwweeeh!!!! It was 18.00 so 1 hour till we met, and at that moment I needed to shit this damn schnitzel out. Damn I was so I excited to meet those forum members and to go to the concert. After waiting 30 min. I met them, they were so COOL seriously cool, really nice to meet madpooter and his girlfriend. Oh and Jeanie you are one of the coolest persons I’ve ever met!!! So relaxed!! so we went in the venue, mippio and his friends were a bit late, so we bought us some drinks, and transferred our money for some coins. But this crappy coin machine wasn’t working… (thanks for your help jeanie!) but finally I got my coins. I bought some t-shirts (the one with ptb on it) and we went to hall. We had very very good places, right behind the mixing desk (vegetable visions I think). The music I’ve heard was so cool before the gig started dunno what it was, I heard someone great, daft punk and a song I heard in the Coachella 2001 recording (ed? Which song was it?). It was so cool talking to Jeanie about music, and other stuff (we need to do that again!). And I talked with Jeanie’s mom, she’s really great!! And then mippio and his friends came!! Daaaaaaamn they were great!! It was cool talking with mippio about the chems and some other music. And I talked with another girl about the nye 2007 in turnmills ( I can’t remember your guys names). And then I met Joslyn and some other guys blablaaaaaaaaaaaa….

…there’s no path to follow… omg help.. waaaaaaah!!! This is so cool this intro!! Some kind of dark machine. And then galvanize suddenly BWAAM……. BWAM…… BWAM!!! This blew me away so loud!! Really can’t describe it! At some point everybody and everything was shaking! Where we were standing I thought this thing is going to break down!! After galvanize is was speechless :O the huge screen… Burst generator a bit early?? Dunno fitted in nice this is so cool live!! I remembered jeanie saying that she was crying at turnmills. And I almost cried too!!! So beautifull this track!! TAKTATAKTAK and that voice (what is it saying?) and bwaaaaaaaa, that energy you really feel it!!! Do it again? I can’t remember the tracklsiting.. wasn’t sure how it will sound live but it’s COOl not the best but really COOL I like the visuals! Tom and ed you are electronic hippies! And suddenly that clown so scary!!! Saying o so loud; JUST GET YOURSELF HIGH!! Hbhg lol everybody went crazy jumping people the lasers everything!!! All rights reversed deff one of the highlights! It never stops!!! This is so good live tom and ed!!! Those lasers I went crazy, again I was totally  :O out of controooooooooooooooooooooooooooool so cool those guys with guns running to you at the screen! And those vocals sssoomttheemiis feel dsssmisunderstood, It was so cool seeing jeanie dacing in real-life man!!! She’s awesome great can’t describe it.. it doesn’t matter vocals  I love it live!! And then star guitar chilling song, but I danced so heard on this one. Surface to air I didn’t got into this song, but live it is so beautiful!!! I saw jeanie’s mom totally surprised how the visuals were, she was like ooooooh wow!! And then it doesn’t matter? I was really going into it, jeanie was screaming watch those robots dammit!! I want that robot now! Ebw 8 lovelly live so cool tututttuuuutuut those paintballs and when those drums come in they explode so loud!!! Believe aaaaaaargh wooooooow it so cool!!! At home I haven’t got a good soundsytem but at the hmh they have (for sure!) believe sounds so good live! This ride through that building church or what it is!! :O :O :O niceee tom and ed nicee!!! Again that clown WE are the night jesus I can’t stop saying wow owow owow wow!!! This build up!! The golden path I always thought this sucks in a live set, but it doesn’t!!!! I was surprised!!!!! This beat!!! Pure love!!! People were hugging each other (but not me :P ). CHEMICAL BEATS!!! Old skool!!! This is so great those viuals!!! Jeanie went crazy I think!! The encore it makes me nervous! BWOW…BWOW…BWOW.. modern midnight it has the same little intro as hold tight London. I felt so warm inside, It was weird!! Never had that before!! This song is really great live!! After this song, I broke a bit down, I was very emotional… jeanie said to her mom; dennis is speechless totally speechless.. sunshine underground wow I really got into this song!! I was shaking totally!! Those drums aargh they make me nervous!! And then BWAAM omg help… I was.. dunno.. In heaven!! Again I broke a bit down emotional.. after the gig I was standing like :O after 5 min I was standing like :O in the car I was sitting like :O in bed I was like :O now I am like :O Jeanie’s mom was so great during sunshine underground!!! She was jumping with us!!! Jeanie tell her she’s awesome!! After the gig I saw madpooter he came to me; he asked how was it? I was like :O dunno what to say. Lol I saw mippio totally wet!! Big eyes like :O cool guy! Very nice guy was standing near us, he was really nice we talked a bit after the gig  love is all! Group photo was been shot  but sadly I couldn’t go to the after party.. so I went home! So I hugged the forum members for the last time  bought a t-shirt and went away!!

I want to say thanks to everybody!!! Ed and tom you gave me such a wide vision of music!! Really thanks!! The forum members, lol I get emotional when I think of them!! You guys teached me a lot about music and stuff after 2 years of reading!! And thanks for being so open!! Jeanie thanks for everything ( I really hope to see you again)!! Awwwwwww - thanks for the wonderful reviews - Den_B... your enthusiasm, the rush of your words in your review is incredible. I really am so happy for you that you got to go and experience this. :O is going to be your new look from now on.

And Jeanie, your mother - I wish I could hug her. Not only because she's your mother, but because she rocked it and had a good time at the show. She sounds like a great woman and it's so cool she got a taste of what your "world" is like.

I'm sorry to highjack this thread with comments and stuff, it's not like I have a review to give right now - but I have to make an observation. It's been really cool reading these reviews especially from people who've seen the shows from different places/angles within the venues these gigs are played out at. I've seen them (live) 3 times so far from the front all the way near the very back of the crowd... And with the visuals and sound and energy from the crowd - reading these reviews is proof there really is no such thing as a bad seat in the house when it comes to a Chemical Brothers show. IMO that is the mark of a great live act! (but you already knew that, haha!)

Thanks again for the reviews, Den_B and Jeanie Beanie! Can't wait to see pics from all who want to share!
