Done. Not that petitions actually make any difference.

But still. It's worth a shot if only to support our creamy, succulent love for Garth Marenghi's Darkplace!

I'm watching the Democratic debates.

Hillary comes across as a self absorbed wanker, the crowd were even booing her at one point. Though to be fair she is putting points out there that make sense. And not to sound like I have Obamania or anything, but he's really owning her right about now (and he's feeling under the weather). Damn, the guy is impressive.

Either way, hopefully if either of them get into office there will be some serious steps made toward health care reform.

I do hope at least one of them wins. And not the old white dude. We've had too many old white dudes be the president. :P

And, uh, you may throw full beer bottles at me in shame, but I had to see the new Knight Rider. I loved the old series and had to see what they wanted to do with the new one. And I always love KITT. And I still do! It's the new Michael I'm worried about. Too emo, he is.

For me definitely not McCain - I'm not sure if I really want my son's great grandkids to carry on with the Iraq legacy given McCain's 100 year plan. But he has vowed that if Obama gets the nomination then he won't run smear campaigns against him so at least there is some integrity there. If the race to the presidency manages to pull off the competition without advertising smears against their opponents then that will be a first in my lifetime.

Anyway.

Nothing wrong with liking the old Knight Rider series. It truly is a classic and KITT was *the* car. And hey it was good for Firebird and Camaro sales.

It's sad and humiliating what's happened to the Hoff as his drinking's out of control. It seems like every other week he's going through the revolving doors to detox. Then it's right back to retoxing.

Time to get stash to execute his 1337 bit torrent powers and get Brass Eye!!

Thanks for the recommendations everyone. There's not a whole lot of US tv that manages to hold my interest with the exception of a tiny handful, so now I'm hooking myself up with the British shows. I feel like such a freakin Anglophile!

Does anyone else tune into Top Gear? Some of those cars they get on there score quite high on the drool-o-meter. Last night they had a luscious Aston Martin, but the previous "dream car" tag I had on the Aston was revoked when Top Gear revved up the Bugatti Veyron. My god, what a gorgeous piece of machinery!

We've also been watching this show on BBC America called Dumped. It's sort of like Survivor, but instead of a bunch of beautiful people being dropped off on an exotic island somewhere, these people have to make do with being stranded at a Croydon dumpyard. Unfortunately nobody gets voted off the dump, but that amateur footballer needs to take a fuckin hike. There's also a guy on there that resembles a younger more dark haired Tom Rowlands - it's almost uncanny especially when he's wearing his hat.

Yeah Top Gear is a brilliant show. It's huge now, because of people being able to watch it on the Internets. To be in the audience you're looking at waiting a decade to get in :o

Just finished season 4 of The Wire. Fuck me, it's good. I'm afraid to move onto season 5 because then I know that'll be it  It's so well written, and the characters so dense that you feel a real loss when things go bad for them, or vice versa. Season 4 has been my favourite so far I think, maybe because now I know the characters. For those that haven't seen it, it's really worth your time. It's slow paced, and it's not really a cop show but it's smart and complex.

We've talked about Chris Morris on this thread before, he recently did a film called Four Lions which I saw at the cinema. It was fucking hilarious, watch it people!

That's a fucking great show, love it. The end of each season leaves you hanging. Can't wait for season 4 ... probably not till next year now
Further Remixed There's nothing else...

I'm currently watching Louie, created by and staring Louis C.K - a ginger eagle nested bald man who's clearly depressed.

It's a bit of a black comedy, and is simular in format to Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiam (two amazing shows) I think. None of that rolling around laughing here though, it's just enjoyable to watch for some reason...I'm still trying to work out why.

I think the computer is more of a zombie addiction box than the TV.
