Does anyone know where I can get, view, whatever, the full lenght video for the song: the test. Back when I was living in europe in '02-'03 MTV played this video allll the time, but surfing on the internet it looks as if the vido starts all the way in the middle (when the girl is already in the water). Why is the video beginning like that,there is so much being cut out!! (i guess because america doesnt like playing long vidoes on MTV lol) If anyone could give me a link or if I will just never be able to see that video ever again =( lemme know !! thx!

Check the Chemical Brothers Singles 93-03 DVD which contains all their videos up to and including The Golden Path, as well as some cool live footage, interviews, etc. It's really a must-have item, I think, and should be relatively easy to find, particularly online.

No, just checked that. And neither does the Singles DVD.
To be honest, I can't recall ever seeing a version of the video where the girl doesn't start in the water... It had been a while since I'd seen the video, so I just assumed there may have been more.
Josie, maybe you, or someone else, can expand on what you think is missing?

The video starts in the water with the whale "eating" her. The how it starts. The music with the video is also an extended version of the actual single release, or in other words, the single is edited and the video has the album version

never heard any versions other than the dvd one, i would've found it 10 seconds after it was released... good video for dvd, really chrisp, youtube won't do it justice

And if it was so, it would be a significant shorter version � la MTV. This one is about 6 minutes long. Can't imagine MTV is playing vid of a length like this.
