oyyy pooter,
you know how you showed us that cd deal? wellllll, if you buy a ticket to their live show off moshtix, you are able to preorder the signed copy of the new album with it. From what i read it indicates that you can have the album sent to you before the release date, as you can get it sent express post.
check it out for yourself

yea i know what you mean. i listened to a live recording of the crystal method at BDO the other day and every now and then they are shouting to the crowd....and since the music is so loud u can even understand what they are saying so its kind of pointless.
it just takes u away from the music i recon, you have to find your groove again

the show is on the 10th of July. Which is sweet as i had planned a month ago to go to sydney during that weekend due to turning 18. But infusion must have known that and decided to put on a performance for me hahaha.
a review?? of course, just don't expect a review like whirly did for coachella :P

just found album an album preview.

some of it i like, some of it im not really sure if i like the new direction. However as experience has shown, Infusion's live sets are usually pretty different to the albums they release.
guess i'll just have to wait till i get the album to make an educated decision.

ok!!! so i just got back from my sydney trip.
Bused it up with 3 friends and my brother. We rocked up to Oxford Art Factory quite early and managed to see the opening act. I was surprisingly impressed by them (however i've forgotten their name). Quite an energetic band, the singer looked wired off his head haha.
I knew i was in for a good night when the DJ's were playing tracks such as "let forever be" and "Litzomania" (alex metric mix).
anyway after the opening act had finished the club had an influx of people rush in. Infusion had a very similar intro to what the chemies had in their WATN tour. Obviously they planned quite a few of the new tracks, however they also chucked in classics such as natural, betterworld etc. Midway through the set they threw in a couple really decent covers (unfortunately i didn't catch the names of the songs) I was dissapointed when they didn't play always there though :(
The gig had so much energy in both the audience and the band. It seemed to just work perfectly. I was very surprised that i went into the gig disliking "2 Player Game", however the live version of it provided a new appreciation for it. After witnessing infusion perform at big day out and Oxford Art Factory, i highly recommend everyone to see them if they get the opportunity.
Anyway im quite dead as ive only had 2 hours sleep. But tell me what you guys think of the new album, i quite like it =)

Awesome!! Glad the show was such a great time--thanks for the review, Jittem.
I really, really hope they make their way over here to the States, specifically to San Francisco. My friend and I got into them after listening to Six Feet above Yesterday, and hearing their live sets makes me want to get out there and dance. ;-)
Looking forward to giving the new album a listen in full.
