Well if you're going then you must visit Camden Town. I dig it lots, it's vibrant and hip although very very touristy.
The museums are incredible, the pubs are wicked, hop on the tube and see where it takes you... hit up some clubs, drop by some record shops, go see a ton of places of historic interest. Even walking around the upper crust Knightsbridge can be cool. Just close your eyes, put your finger on a map of London and just go.
There is so much to see and do, it's an awesome city. I hope you have a great time in London!

Yeah, check www.dontstayin.com - and then look for London in the UK Places bit.
Then you can look by date, and music style if you like. Tons of venues in London, just look for one that sounds good (if you don't like the sound of Fabric)

yes you're quite right mate. that line up is for the saturday, to be fair I tend to check saturday night by default....cus erm thats what I likes you see?
friday nights is fabric live - breaks, hip-hop and drum & bass and the saturday is the house, disco, tech, minimal, country & western etc
but don't restrict yourself to fabric. it's a great club with a great system and they book great dj's but the atmosphere doesn't always hit the spot for me. often I'd I'd rather be somewhere smaller with people getting down.
so mr doomsday. do it the old way......when you get to london go to a record shop (try berwick street in soho) and check out some flyers. see whats going on....
thats my advice.
