Can I just add that I've never experienced a track growing on me as fast as EBW8, what an AMAZING track, it'll be great live.

9 is good to, has the same primal atmosphere as It Began in Africa

yes, that EBW 8 really is a grower. When i first heard it, it just didnt fit well with me. Now that ive heard it about 5 more times, this tune really is bizarre! And i mean the good bizare. It really leaves me wanting more.

And thats not to say EBW 9 sounds like a typical chems tune either. Theres something "new" (in terms of style) happening in these tunes, i just cant point it out. These guys are really on the verge of something big, there really is no limitations for these guys. "JERK THE CHICKEN" (chemical 6) is gonna be HUGE!

Chemical 6 is going to be huge. Does this in anyway remind you of DYOH with EBW1/2 yet completely different?

Ah! And EBW 8! This is the better of the two in my opinion! And thats an insane statement considering that I've been long for an EBW7 like song, which 9 is much more like. xD EBW 8 is sooo beautiful and euphoric and that drum break-down right before, whoah!

And just think!! These aren't even the whole things, there could be good other 2-4 minutes to each one! Think of what could be hidden farther on! The chems have made my day better than it will already be! :D

Just woke up after a night out, just cranked EBW 8 and 9 on the headphones. I can't get enough, these tracks a fucking massive.

Number 9 is starting to grow on me now, took a little longer than 8 for me to accustom to, but man... It's ridiculously tribal, but without the tribal drums. I feel like I'm in some crazy voodoo ceremony when I listen to this track 8O

Good to ( almost ) have you on board!

Dunno about the tubes but i reckon they will be working - heathrow express will also be working and worst case scenario - taxi's are allways around!

Oh , and no chemicals will be needed to fully enjoy NYE ;) ( But they probably won't do any harm , either X-D )

im pretty sure the tubes will be running NYD.

and dont even think about a taxi - u will get absolutely shafted - it was gonna cost us 30 from chelsea to heathrow, if u go across town from turnmills it'll be 60 on a normal day, double rates on NYD i expect.

Wow. These tracks represent a major departure from what we've heard before. I was listening to them on my mp3 player on a quiet walk tonight and it was hard associating the sound with the band! That said, they seem to be following a trend I noticed since Push The Button. This trend seems to be peeling back the layers and creating a leaner, meaner, tighter, more broody and futuristic sound. However, this progression seems to almost uncosciously soundtrack these uncertain times. Have we ever had "certain" times methinks?

The bros also seem to have changed the way they make their songs, abandoning the ABC verse/chorus form in favour of a constant "base" rhythm and melody which they develop additively or subtractively. Sorry if that's over analysing or pure shite talk, maybe it's all this chinese food I've wolfed down my chute tonight :-)

Hmm dunno, were the EBWs ever that layered and complex as their album companions? I don't think so. But i think they're right as they are . . .

Btw, has anybody recorded the entire show? I'd like hear i-punks shouts to the forum members since i missed them.
