My guess is not many people (namely new folk) will bother looking here first before opening a new thread, but it doesn't hurt to have a thread for FAQ's.

So. Ask your burning Chemical Brothers related questions here!

Q: Will the Chemical Brothers ever release a live DVD?

A: No. Tom & Ed have specifically said no. ::tears::

Q: Are Tom & Ed really brothers?

A: No, it's just a name.

There are rumors, of course, but nothing yet has been confirmed of the Chemical Brothers breaking up.

I think there will be another album, in fact im very sure, however as far a i know its going to be quiet for a little while, The WATN era was very busy so I think they will have a rest for a while with the odd dj date here and there.

I know it's off-topic, but I'm so fucking proud of Tom & Ed for all the music they've made. My girlfriend and I were listening to Surrender in the car in Portland, and she was saying that although WATN is her favorite album, she loves the range of Surrender. It spawned this whole conversation about their music in general, and their work, overall, is just absolutely fantastic.

I can't wait to hear what they do next, whether it be under the name Chemical Brothers or something else... Their talented souls won't rest, I would imagine. :)

Q: Has the question I'm asking in this new thread already been answered?

A: Most likely. Please take a moment to look through other threads before posting a new topic, as in, perhaps take a quick look at the topics on the front page?

Awww, Poots - I know I sound like a motherly fangirl, but am proud of Tom and Ed, too. :) The music has seen me through some incredible times both good and bad, and for that I'm forever grateful.

I feel as though I should throw up the inevitable question...

Q: What is the 'Animal track' and When will it be released?

A: http://ca.youtube.co...h?v=7LSdLc_Y9iA

http://ca.youtube.co...h?v=w0zrp5JhyAU

It is a track that was played out live a bit in 05/06 by Tom and Ed. Tom and Ed have confirmed that it has been shelved for the time being.

There, That question keeps getting asked every so often so now we can just bitch that it has been answered (slightly) here. Still in support of Tom and Ed to bring it out though.

"who from the forum travelled to see a chemicals show?

Answer: Darkstarexodus"

Welllllll, he did travel far. However, it technically wasn't the furthest. Madpooter would be a better answer for that one.

Darkstarexodus would be the answer to "who from the forum took drastic measures to attend a chemical brothers show?" and or, "which forum member spends the most time killing brain cells?"

:P

It's 5,958 miles between San Francisco and Barcelona. If Darkstar beats than, kudos for him. ;-)

I've got nothing on his drug use.

I know she doesn't frequent the board as much as us, but impressive none the less....

Darkstar endured a 60 hour Greyhound trip when he came from Winnipeg to Coachella to see the Chems.

That's a lot of hours sitting on a bus.
