I know it's all over the "news" but don't believe everything you read. Tabloids are written on rags, not stone. Right now nothing's been confirmed, and I don't think anyone knows the half of it, let alone the truth. What's circulating is likely not the truth.

Talking about finding love, a baby on the way, and offering messages of encouragement and support in the aftermath of a devastating event show that I think we genuinely care about Ed and his well being - as a person like any one of us, not just someone who makes really cool music. This news about dating and becoming parents and the misscarriage was also confirmed.

Debating (and speculating) on a private matter such as a break up (has it even been confirmed??) I have mixed feelings about this. That said, I don't see discussing this as being completely out of bounds. It is only natural that since it involves Ed, we're gonna wanna have our say too.

I will say this, that being a big fan of the Chems for the better half of a decade, that it's very weird to be reading about Ed's personal life in the tabloids. I am sure it is just as weird for the rest of you - and even more weird for Ed.

The thing that bothers me most was seeing the headlines - in big bold print on the front page of these tabloid sites - that Ed dumped Lily... And the poisonous, painful commments I've read that are giving him, our Ed, a bad name. Making Ed look like some horrible heartless person given recent events in his relationship with Lily. Yet nothing's been confirmed and who knows what the truth really is. That is sickening. Words can destroy lives or at the very least, make life more difficult. I believe the people here (even though we piss each other off sometimes)) to be good people and will not sink to that kind of level or believe everything the tabloids print to be an infallible source of undisputable information.

None of this would even be if it weren't for whoever shot their big mouth off to the tabs, thus encouraging them to take the bait and run with it.
