went to see the bays last night, very cool, wicked live band. caught up with a load of old skool mates, and got generally very twatted - ended up on a boat in brighton marina at 5.00am :? X-D quality night!

It's sooooooo cold!!! It's midday and around 10 degrees outside! last week was so sunny and all the sudden the cold has smacked us in the face :'(



I'm so not ready for winter. I also have a cold and just want to sit in bed but have to work since I only worked 15 hours last week (commonwealth games made my hotel dead...l couldn't believe it) and I have to go this week to make up for it. I also missed out on Pendulum tickets for saturday which i'm upset about but I heard they are holding a second show so I'm still pumped! :D



Sorry about my rant but I'm all stuffy nosed and can't talk to anyone really in person :(



Hope everybody elses weathers looking up.

Poor kwiddle, hope you feel better soon. There's not many worse feelings in the world than having to go to work when you're sick.



We've been having "weather" out here in S. California. Rain and lots of it. It's been a bit chilly by S. California standards, but I kind of enjoy being cozy indoors while it's pouring rain outside.

It's so nice and warm here right now, it's all the way UP to 10 degrees out! X-D I might not even wear a jacket if I go out today! X-D



Hope you feel better soon Kwiddle. I'm finally getting over yet another cold myself. Next year I'm definetly getting my flu shot: I got sick way too often this winter.

Actually, there's very real flood danger in Winnipeg right now. I went for a drive through a local riverside park about 5 minutes from my house and the river is actually spilling onto the road. The water crest isn't for another week yet, so we'll see what happens.













In 1997, the last time we got a ridiculous flood, the total area completely under water was about the size of New Jersey. Not good.

heh, no kidding. We were lucky not to have any flooding in our basement, but most people we knew had some seepage through the foundation.

hahah, fair enough. That was the worst flood in over 200 years and it will get nothing like that this year, but the main highway to/from the USA is closed at the moment. They'll reopen it within a few days, I'd guess.



And Winnipeg itself is protected by a giant spillway that generally condemns the surrounding communities to a watery grave. :)

I done my GCSE drama practical today. It was a commedia dell'arte piece on Robin Hood. I was Robin Hood :D 8) Kinda ironic, cause in the cartoon movie Robin hood is a little ginger fox. X-D



Anyway, it was front of the examiner and stuff, and well, there was a bit of a tension but it went down pretty well... I got full marks!! 30/30 for my practical..
