Oh very Nice!

And I havent heard many of the remixes. Although I do know that "The Gossip - Standing in the Way of Control (Soulwax Remix)" was a key ingredient to that SMD mix I have from a year ago. Excellent Mix.

and

Soulwax Live = LOVE.

Soulwax live = LOVE.

Andy's current mood:

"Most of the music Andy has come to listen to over the years is written and performed by artists who do not live in the United States which may or may not have something to do with the fact that the U.S. has crap taste in music, but has everything to do with the fact that it forces Andy to order overpriced imports of new releases from his favorite artists from Amazon.com instead of being able to just walk right into the local record shop and pick up the album in hand on the day of its release. Some of the artists live in the U.K., others in France, but the one in question lives in Belgium. Ghent, to be precise."

if they've ruined west phillips then I'll not be happy.

I may even send them a strongly worded letter.

@Rynostar - That track is absolutely massive. Seriously, it's a tie between that and Everybody Needs a 303 for biggest build ever.

Soulwax are doing a superchunk session on Xfm radio (104.9 London) tomorrow, kicking off from 10pm BST. Tracklist-ish available from www.myspace.com/eddytemplemorris

/jealousy

I've checked the mixing bowl for any Soulwax Nite Versions sets, but haven't found any. Anyone know of any torrent sites off hand that might have one?

Edit: Nevermind. I just found some on Mixingbowl. Doesn't look like there are any seeds, though. :-(

::cheers::

Prochem

They're great live on stage, either playing rock versions, either playing nite versions of their songs. T4hey're also awesome as 2manydj's!

Whenever u got the chance, check them out on stage!

I've seen them twice in San Francisco as Nite Versions--better than Justice, not as good as The Chemical Brothers, I'd say.

Interestingly, two of my friends who aren't into electronic music went with me the second time I saw them and became instant fans. And although they can't compete with the Brothers, their energy is absolutely fantastic, unique and fierce. They bring something to the stage that nobody else can, and makes everyone dance.

I just got the remix album/2manyDJs mix cd in the mail today. IT'S SO GOOD!!!!!

I'm going to cream my shorts if they play San Francisco again. I can't wait to hear them perform this stuff.

Or maybe they'll do Coachella again... :)

found a live gig they do for the album. It's great: http://3voor12.vpro....demand/38263124

click "concerten" and Soulwax should be at the top. Seems Turnmills will be a grat place to be after all this year :) How about a Soulwax remix Tom & Ed?? Or the otherway around would be cool.
