Just picked up this magazine today, which has an interview with our Brothers.



Anyway, it's not up online yet but it might be worth a read if you get a chance to browse at your local newstand. Also has a charming picture of the Brothers goofing off in a hallway, didn't know Tom wears Calvin Klein underwear (waits for Miss _chi to make comment) but it's not a full day til you learn something new. ;)



The only thing that bugged me was the article seemed to focus on what URB calls "an uneasy lunch conversation" which brings up the "freefall" of the Chems' career within the United States after Dig Your Own Hole peaked, why Hey Boy Hey Girl didn't cut the mustard, the state of "dance" music in the US today, as well as an obligatory mention of NME's scathing Galvanize review (still waiting for NME to cough up a Push The Button review, where is it?). And once again we read the Brothers defending Left Right. Pretty much this interview is more of the same, and even though I understand URB is a U.S. publication, it falls short of mentioning the Chems' success in their homeland and elsewhere around the world. I got a sense of doom and gloom from this article *however* it is a fairly intelligent interview of Tom and Ed, with intelligent and articulate answers of course.



Also has an interesting take on the term IDM, which happens to be my sentiments exactly: "It's horrible - the idea that one kind of music has more intellectual worth than another. Good music is not about intellect, it's about feeling."





So anyway, just thought I'd let you know! :)

Yeah, that BPM interview was a good read. Not a very long interview but a lot more positive than this URB one.



I also enjoyed the DJ Times interview. It's nice to see the Chems on the cover of magazines!

I would love to read that !!!

As for labels toomuch'stash, you may wear the pants in the family but I'm the one out buying the underwear. ;) Can't help but notice these things.



I don't want to suggest anything, cuz it's not a racy picture and believe it or not I am not the type to go scrutinizing Tom and Ed's every physicality. But Tom is slightly bent over, another inch bent and he would've been in plumber's territory, and the eyes do involuntarily wander. And the huge laughing smile on Ed's face! I couldn't help but look! X-D

well... i can play the guitar and quite good. some well-known german band asked me to join them but i decided for a normal life (that might change ;-) ). plus, i have the world-largest chemical brothers collection and hundreds of pics of tom in my house ;-) for extra qualification your phone number is needed and i will let you know 8)
