Cut along story short, basically I think had one of the best Chemical Experiences yet. I seen them something like 3 weeks ago, and comparing them, is like comparing two completely different things, everything was perfect for the brothers to work it out.

I turned up and they opened with TNK, and as soon as I heard that, I knew something special was in store and oh sweet jesus, I litterally, wept the whole way through star guitar like a FRUITCAKE it was that amazing, everyone around me thought I was upset, they kept saying

''ow man are you okay man?''

Whereas me, I was like

''Ow.. Yeah *sniff* Im really fine its just, *sniff* this is my favorite song ever *crrryy*''

The reaction I got was ''awwwwwwwwwwwwwww *hugs/photo*''

Seen the best version of Believe to date, It was just so AWESOME. Probably one the best chemical brothers gigs I've been too strangely enough, it almost rivals the London gig in Trafalgar...

Rage Against the Machine were playing the mainstage and initially i wanted to see them but I couldnt go to Rage whilst knowing Chemicals were around the corner, I wouldnt have enjoyed myself, So i went to the chemicals witnessed an amazing set and towards the end I was thinkin maybe catch a bit of RATM, as I got closer to the mainstage, which was visible from just outside the Second Stage, I just looked back at the chemicals who, by the way, WERE TTEEEARRINNG ITT UPPPPPPPPP! and just thought, I have to see this!!

It was a bit of a shame, the brothers were cut short for some reason, they were about to play The Golden Path and one of them musta just got word or something because Tom started doing this mad mad maaadd shit with one of those Pianos and the 'Love is All' logo came up. I was expecting an Encore and some chemical beats etc, they didnt even get to finish everyone off! Probably good they never because the set was sooo fucking good that if they had of came on and played block rocking beats I probably wouldnt imploded.

Anyway thank you so much Tom and Ed for such a AWESOME set! Amazing!

Nice!

Glad you had such an awesome time, hombre.

Any idea why the set got cut short?

And any other highlights or setlist moments?

pretty short set only a bit over a hour, pills live was highlight, it was truly mesmerising as was ebw10 live. so prefer english crowds to irish crowds. too much pushing and crap like that. good weekend had great fun at the festival and thanks tom and ed!!!

Hmmm. Rage Against The Machine, or the Chemical Brothers. Hmmmmmm!

Only the Chems can make grown men weep at shows... Glad to see you made the right choice, Foxy! I'm happy they put on such an amazing show, even if it was cut short. There's even a blurb about it on the home page Chems txt so they must've been pleased (even though the gig was shorter than expected).

:)

Old man hairstyles are a flop.

I made the mistake of picking Rage Against the Machine over the Chems in 1999 at the first Coachella. It was either one day or the other, and I went on the wrong day. :-(

Thanks for the review Foxy! Glad you had a really wicked good time.

I saw RATM last year @ Rock the Bells and they totally tore it up (with the WU and Cypress Hill!) The second best concert of last year to me. That is WAY fucking hard to choose: On your left, you have the Chems and on your right, you have RATM!

Actually its not that hard after all!

See the chems show and ask your friend to shoot video for the other!

Wait. They played The Pills Won't Help You Now, live?

I wonder what that sounded like.
