Have heard it in a couple of chems DJ sets from around 2000....it basically starts with a breakbeat & a voice repeatedly counting 1, 2 ,3 ,4...until it hits 1 2 3 4 5 6 & then the word "BASS"....then the vocal sample "what we're gonna do right here is go back" comes in a little later is repeated quite frequently backed by noises that I used to describe to people as almost sounding like fireworks going off lol

Cany anyone help me with this ID??? Been after it for abut 4 or 5 years at least now & I actually think its a Chems thing itself

I can't listen to the audio clip as I'm work but it's probably Base 6 mixed into the Dj Milo/Impulsion cut-up...

in fact I'm willing to eat my hat if it isn't (trilby if you're curious)

the cut-up is an edit tom & ed made of impulsion 'clenched fist' & dj milo 'return of the original artform' - it's not been released.

I'm pretty sure you can get clenched fist on mp3 for free from the micronauts site.

Whats the story on the "In Glint" promo CD....do many of them ever show up around online or has anyone ever done a cheeky upload of it seen as its not freely/commercially available anymore - wouldnt mind doing my own re-edit of the one that features on there for playing out
