I just got an email that Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross are teaming up to do the soundtrack for The Social Network.
Atticus Ross did the amazing original soundtrack for the Book of Eli, and these two are also working together in an okay project called How To Destroy Angels.
Anyways, they are giving a free 5 track sampler EP away for The Social Network OST; I highly suggest downloading it HERE

just what I expected: ambient soundtrack in the mood of the Cliff Martinez works. Love it. It reminds me a bit also of the Alexandre Desplat Syriana OST in some way.

Started to listen to some of the free tracks--not bad. They seem fairly well-suited for movie score.
