I like playing that on my guitar, and singing to it, shame there are only a few lyrics :(

What is meant by WINDOWS MEDIA FORMAT ? Is it .wma ?
yes. the program I use for converting audio formats is at http://www.poikosoft.com called Easy CD-DA Extractor, but I'm sure there are a lot of other ways to do so. just make your track as mp3, wav, whatever, and you can (or I can if you want me to) convert it to wma.

I like the song though, but it's not up to their previous work. It's got this really weak commercial hiphop sound to it that has infiltrated 80% of the market nowadays. I like the break with the Jaws reference though, and the vocals are okay but talking in production terms it's pretty bad.
BTW, negative opinions seem to be not appreciated around here. Why?

I'd love to hear Galvanize (Whirlygirl Remix)
^ *hint wink nudge nudge*
:-? :? :-?
I tinker with Reason, nothing too serious it's a good way to pass the time and keep my piano hands from atrophying. But I wouldn't know how to remix if my life depended on it. I'll leave that to the pros!

This is a really interesting 'vision' of Galvanize you've got going on. The piano playing is excellent, btw. It's a totally unexpected take on the song, a world apart from the original. I actually like the chord progressions. As the song picks up, the bass line combined with the keys and the bongo drums from the 3:45 mark onward has a real Manchester sort of groove.
Not bad for a first remix. It's quite clever actually!

The intro is great, the way the track builds is fantastic, especially when the beat comes in around the 30 sec. mark. I like the cut up of the vocals - the panning, the reverb, and how they drift into the textures of your composition. The buzzing, dark synth countered with the lighter tones is a nice touch - the drop near the end and how the melody swings back up before the ending rounds it out. It's all put together very well, and there's plenty of ear candy to keep the listener entertained.

Awesome remix Slipvin! Sounds very professional!
Do you have any other tunes you've done for download somewhere? :D
I'll be uploading a new remix tomorrow. It's a remix of a song called Sin City Serenade by the indie-rockband Red Monroe.
Visit http://www.redmonroe.com for more info on the band.
