the video was first shown in its intirety last saturday on t4 popworld. it was amazing. the video reminds me very much of hey boy hey girl video. it is shot in the same location i think. and yes the brothers are in it. they are the bouncers at the door as q-tip gets kicked out of the club at the end. again very similar to hey boy hay girl in that you don't see the brothers till tyhe end and are both just outside the club

On the poster the kids hide behind. It's kinda hard to make it out over the net, but it does look like them. I'd love to know what the words are on it hey.

Well the video for galvanize was played on the Australian tv channel ABC last night, on the musical programme called 'rage'.

On every friday night they start of with the brand new releases, and last night the first one was 'Galvanize'.



The video relates very well to the overall 'mood' of the song- mid-eastern sounds and the image of the dark French ghettos, which are mostly populated by Algerians and others from Africa and mideast.



Personaly, this video doesn't do much for me. It's kinda ok, but nothing that would make me jump and go Whoa! That last part of the video when they are having a 'dance-of' feels kinda wierd and off.



When it comes to appereances of Tom and Ed in the video, Afro is right - they appear once in the middle of the video -when those kids lean against a wall on which there are three small photos- the left one is Ed, the mid one is Tom (its hard to see him because the photo is realy dark) and the third one is of some other bloke (looks like that bouncer).



BTW, Chemical_si you got it totally wrong , Chems aren't the bouncers at the end of the clip, and Q-tip doesnt get kicked out.

I missed it last night. I forgot to check the Rage site yesterday and didn't bother watching last night as they have been playing shite for the last few Fridays... and it was the first clip last night!

I just saw it, not too bad at all. Works well with the tune! I really like how the colour kicks in when they get into the club. Oh yeah, and the Chemical Beats bit at the end is clever innit.

I watched it on rage on friday and last night, i can't get enough of it, I spotted Ed on a photo on the wall when the kids were in the subway, If u look carefully u can see it, But you have to be quick, It only shows it for a couple of seconds, They should of made the chemical beats outro at the end a bit louder so we can hear it without turning it up

unfortunately, germany doesn't have any good music TV station left and the last alternative format is cancelled in few weeks. so, galvanize will not be played on TV here.

i always wished there was a video for TPPR. that could have been monumental. when they've had the test video out my first thought was: that could have been TPPR...

I'm kind of glad there isn't a video for The Private Psychadelic Reel.



Part of the whole point of the song (for me, at least) is to let my mind play out the reel, let the music guide it. Mental theater is where it's at!!

I agree, your mental imagery can be destroyed by a video or artwork that ruins your personal vision.
