So .. there.. just a few favourites off the top of my head.

You've listed FSOL twice.

Btw, ever heard 'On The Rhodes Again' by Morcheeba. That one is the perfect chill out track ever written.

Groove Armada - Fogma

especially live

Right on it liquid funk! Although i'd have to argue in favour of superstylin'. That tune makes me fly wen its heard live, some serious pogoing and singing along business to be had. Definetly my all time favourite, still love it since the first time i heard it. G A are like on equal pegs with the chems in terms of my favourite Live Acts, GA probably have a slight advantage because i have seen them a few more times.

yer so you keep telling me, im quite looking forward to it now!

it cant imagine tom n andy to be anywhere close to the quality of visual and audio performance, they were a nice band to see live but when one half of the original 2 doesnt even turn up...

I love The Golden Path, too.

You should've been here when that song first came out. Man, were there some harsh words and strong opinions on both sides of the fence!!

I think people are missing the point of this topic altogether.............. its not just about songs you happen to like......its about songs or tunes that have touched your heart in some way, or remind you of some good times you had............... your fave tunes of all time.....not just a catchy number you heard on the radio 2 weeks ago....

my list is

Hey Jude - The Beatles

I'm looking through you - The Beatles

Comfortably numb - Pink Floyd

Fascination - the human league

Ghosts - Japan

Claustrophobic sting - The Prodigy

Sulk - Radiohead

Bombtrack - Rage against the machine

The American - Simple minds

She Bangs the drums - The Stone Roses

my fave chems track has gotta be Elektrobank

I'm sure theres more but thats the ones that spring to mind

All of U2 "Achtung Baby" - the whole record connected with where I was at a certain period of my life, and still manages to mean something to me even today.

This Mortal Coil "Song to the Siren" - I was taking an art class in college, and my teacher put this on. At that moment it was the most beautiful song I'd ever heard - stunned me in such a way that I couldn't even finish what I was doing until the end of the track, and I had to apologize for my teacher for daydreaming and class but thankfully she understood and told me what record it was. Still get goosebumps listening to it.

Leonard Cohen "Waiting For A Miracle" - more my husband's song really, but it sums up where we were when we first met.

Mazzy Star "Fade Into You" - the song that was playing in my head the day I told my husband 'I love you' for the first time... Everybody say "awwww."

All of Spiritualized "Lazerguided Melodies" - I put that on repeat the day my son was born.

There was more music before and more music later, but that's all the profoundness I can write about right now. ;)
