How reliable is this Rob Light fellow? For that matter, what about Digitalspy? I'm not saying I don't want to believe it, I'm just having a hard time doing so.

A couple of years ago a friend of mine ask me if i want to come with him to an Rolling Stones-Concert, but tickets where sold for expensive prizes (80eur or something like that) so i said no. Few weeks later the concert was sold out and they released the names of the support acts : AC/DC and Cranberries. I beat the fuck out of me.

But back to topic

Daft Punk would be nice because i never see them live

I remember seeing them in 97 in Newcastle. Looked like 2 schoolkids bobbing up and down behind their set up on stage

I don't like pyramids. They scare me!

Daft Punk is --amazing-- live.

The end.

As far as I'm aware the pyramid is no longer in use.

I saw Daft last year in Sydney and apparently that was their last show using the pyramid ever!

Maybe they will revert to a rectangular prism, or perhaps even a cube!

Where did you hear that they aren't going to use the pyramid anymore?

This was taken from wikipedia

"A Triple J interview with Pedro Winter (Busy P) revealed that Daft Punk's Sydney appearance on December 22 would be their final show for 2007 and the last to feature the pyramid light scheme.[53]"

it might mean that they are just using different lighting.. i'm not sure.. but everyone there was going on about how it's the last time anyone will see the pyramid!

It has to be said that that concert was the most poorly organised event ever!!

Well, i'd like to see new things from them. I'd rather a change in their live performances than keeping with the pyramid for years.

Indeed--I have faith that Daft Punk will, once again, bring an amazing experience no matter what changes may come.

I have a feeling, even, that they will demand change, seeing as how they fancy themselves serious artists. I can see why many people might think of the duo as pretentious.

I just hope if they tour, they take the dust off their Juno, TRs drum-machines and TB303 and take them on tour with them.

daft punk live = two people, not always daft punk in a pyramid for 80 mins dancing.....and possibly triggering samples....possibly.

seen them twice, or three times......boring.

the only way id go to see them now is if they went back to how it was in 96 with them on a stage, with a table of effects pedals, samplers, drum machines and a computer.
